Here is a little tip. Trim some of the plastic in from of where the Idler pulley install on the Bracket. It will make life much easier when you install the pulley.

Is that with a stock radiator? I've got the 54mm Koyo radiator fitted & have already cut away a lot of the top of the fan casing, Just need to figure out now where I can mount my ARC catch can

Yep (stock). You still want to trim some of that plastic.

+1 to trimming. The extra room helped, especially after my idler pulley snapped off.had to upgrade to stronger bolts. Don't know if it was an issue specific to me. But if anyone else it pushing 13psi on the HKS kit, consider upgrading to stronger idler puller bolts, or keep a close eye in them.

I thought 10psi was the max.. how can we push an hks at 13psi? I thought the stage 5 gtm specs was rated at 9.5-10-psi

I dunno (maybe I got a special blower or its my particular setup, but that's what I peak at on the dyno and on the street)...My kit is maxed out stage 5 revup 6 m/t with many upgrades. Tuan@GRD did a great tune and this is all while battling a Cosworth plenum leak (still awaiting a retune with new plenum that is on the car).

Actually, I remember when the car was first on the dyno, it would only boost to ~10psi. I was experiencing some belt slip/loose and a few of the belts were changed to slightly smaller ones. Also, Tuan tweaked the tune and then it would boost to 12-13 psi and made more power. I'm wondering if any further improvements will show when I go back for a retune with the new Cosworth plenum that so far is leak-free.

^^ thanks for all the info! really helpful... I can go talk with my tuner since I was aiming for something like your set up. I have the same set up as you but the difference is the pulley which I'm getting and the EMS, I'm using Osiris(saving for an Fcon)..

A silly question man, I wonder if you ever dyno your car on a different Dynometer such as mustang or DJ?

When my kit was first installed (before the tweaking of the tune/belt change--~10 psi), and with a leaking Cos plenum, I did get my car dynod on a dynojet. I can try to find the dyno files--I believe the numbers were like 399whp/405 trq (sae).

I'm curious...what are the biggest numbers anyone has seen on a HKS Supercharger with the VQ?

Also, I imagine the reason the HKS SC has a better hp/torque ratio than the Vortech is probably because the HKS's pulley/belt layout brings the boost up more quickly in the rpm range than the Vortech so you can get moore boost at lower rpms, therefore better torque response...yes?

I haven't seen bigger numbers on the HKS GT SC than the dyno I posted, but if anyone is putting down more power than me, please post up

The blower's serial number on the kit you send me is GTS7040-070094

The Serial number on marble's blower is GTS7040-070086 which is the one you stated that you bought and then ended up selling it to me..

I hope Karma doesn't hit on you twice in the future. I could've easily dealt with a pulley but you stating that you are old enough and professional to the point that your word is worth it on top of any supercharger stuff... blah blah blah.. is just lame... you truly lie sir and it's disappointing. I worked over 1 year and saved little by little and struggle between school/housing expenses to afford what I purchased from you ...

No more drama and I'll have to suck it up.... Lesson learned,I believed that before this forum was full of people we could trust but lately this place is getting crazy... scams from random people and vendors.. watch out for them people.. specially when it comes to items that are pricey..

I'm just curious, because I just can't imagine how the Vortch is going to be like...
