Cryogenic Intercooler Sprayer
Anyone have any opinions on the Cry02 IC Sprayer kit? It looks cool enough, but I'm gonna be running 9lbs and right near the limit of RWHP as it is. C02 is non-combustible, and my intake filter is right above the IC, I don't really wanna be sucking in a bunch of C02 into the motor. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about these.
Have you looked into a water injection system? A boost activated system is good cheap insurance against the negative affects of boost on this stock engine. And the distilled water will be cheaper to refill than a C02 IC sprayer.

Water Injection > IC Sprayer
It's liquid CO2, not gas. Are the "cryo" ones liquid nitrogen? A cold IC has large performance gains. We sprayed the FMIC of a friends SR20DET-powered Datsun 510 many years ago with nitrous and it made 50rwhp on the dyno versus the same pull without the spray. You need to tune for it though.
I have not looked into water inj. I thought that the CRY02 (which is liquid) looked rather promising. I"ll need to do some research on the water inj. Seems as though tuning for the cry02 would be a pain in the ***, I'd then be stuck running it at WOT whether I wanna or not or my tune won't agree. At least a gallon of distilled is 99 cents...
