Quoted from my post

I would of thought belt slippage may have caused the dip...this was just 1 run during the tuning session.

My mods:

Vortech v3 with 2.87 pulley
AAM Stage 1 fuel return
600cc injectors
255 walbro pump
100cell race cats
fujistubo ypipe
3" cat back exhaust
Stock block running 99 ron fuel
but obviously i am not running that as its probably the quickest way to destroy your engine

ill chime in...every single dynapack i have seen has read very high so that will explain to some of you why his numbers seem high or whatever the questions were...also for some sayin the stock maf is only good to a set horsepower number that is wrong..there are other things that play a factor in maxing the maf out..I too am over the 400whp mark and on stock maf...I have no interest to change it yet with my current setup and had no problems while tuning...Its not always going to max out on every car at a set number.. Ive seen a guy make 402whp on a dynojet and the next week make 430whp on a dynapack...dyno comparing is useless

DO NOT block the bpyass valve!!! If that is what the tuner recommended then i would quickly bring my car somewhere else...U need a solid tune cause that a/f could be much much smoother...Maybe you are having a maf issue idk, but its not a guaranteed thing to happen on everyone at a certain power level like i said...although with uprev tuning i have seen the maf's max out sooner

^^^ what engine management are you running??

Your right...there isnt a set HP number for MAFs...but i can tell ya on the dozens of vortech cars( as well as the TT cars) i have seen and tuned that number is usually between 350-380 whp...

im still on the measly ss box from my vortech kit but it does the job very well with a great tune that i have..I have been more than happy for over 10k boosted miles now...
I have the complete kit with fmu, inline pump and ss box, still stock block and stock internals and stock maf on the 3.12 pulley making 9-10 psi...415-420whp/355 ft. lbs. dynojet..

i do plan on going with uprev in the future when i put some more power to it so i have been keeping up on the uprev threads and have seen the maf's maxing out pretty easy..I wonder why this is

Well running the SS box clamps the MAF voltage. So technically you are running out of MAF voltage and the SS box is using the built in pressure sensor to control the fuel and ignition timing....

I did'nt know it was possible to tune between 420WHP and 500WHP with same pulley, if that is the case...
