congrats!

it seems like your AFR was bouncing around a lot. what did your tuner think about using an upgraded MAF?

good power, like others have said AFR could be smoothed out some.

But glad it all worked out for ya. good to reaffirm that my kit made nice power

At 5000rpm, power takes a dump just as AF ratio takes a dump...maybe it's the maf? Nice power though...hope I can match it..lol.

My tuner had a tough time getting his head around the kit. Has really put him off tuning vortech cars for the future too. He wants the car back and to block off the bov as he can do everything within the uprev software to limit boost with cam timing and other bits. Mark@abbey is probably the most reputable vq tuner in the UK and has a built 3000whp vq motor for his drag car.

I will get it back down to him at some point and see if he can smooth it out....but i am amazed with the power and how it delivers....

i dunno, tuning a supercharger is as easy and straight forward as it comes. boost is absolutely linear with rpm. there are no surprise boost spikes or various boost levels all over the rpm range depending on throttle.

It would only take like 20 mins and some street pulls to flatten that AFR out with a UTEC. On a dyno with Uprev, shouldnt be much different either.

why would he want to limit boost? DO not block off the BPV. Thats ridiculous! If you think it too much boost, pulley it down to a 3.12.

lookin good so far!

The AFR at most spans about one point - from 11.8 down to 10.7 and averages around 11.3. It's not that bad, and perfectly safe... Just take away some fuel at 5k rpms and it'd be just fine. The scale of the graph just makes it look bad.

Is that reading Flywheel HP or wheel HP...cause it says Flywheel HP at the top of the graph...

Cause the stock MAF run out of voltage at about 375 WHP on a vortech...

so you show the graph that shows 420 fly wheel power which is less then 400whp but you say your other graph shows 456whp and had a run of 500whp? lol thats over 100whp difference your claiming between runs...so which is it??

oh wait like vince said the chart says fly wheel power and you posted it as wheel hp..interesting

Dynapack's say flywheel hp and tq but it is still at the hub/wheels and not a representation of flywheel hp or tq.
