Yeah, Bla, Bla, Bla Larry. i still think the Ethanol floats on top.
But that could be true too.

The Boost control options are nearly infinite with the ProEFI. It's basically whatever the customer wants!

Took the car for a run today...just picked up my friend who has a turbonetics Z and went for a neighborhood blast. Nothing more than 5 minutes. He was speechless. He said, the car drives like stock and when I punch it...well I think he needed to change his pants.
I spun tires in 1st, 2nd and 3rd and thats after an awesome alignment. So the rear tires were planted.
If I had my video camera, I would have had him shoot a quik vid to demonstrate the 2 step. No such luck. But I will soon.

Another thing I noticed, the 2-step affects not only when I step on the clutch but also on the brake. I look at the CAN gauge and notice it drops from 15 psi (current boost setting) to 7 psi with my foot on either the clutch or brake.

I may need to de-activate that function until I go to the track.

I'm going to swap my 48 for the 128 pin in May. Hopefully traction control is available then. I'm also curious on how this new screen gauge looks. Randy get some vids up ASAP! When I get my project together I'll post it up ;-)

So it drops boost and institutes a rev limiter with the 2 step engaged? That's really nice! Get some 305 R888s on there to put it down on the street.

Already working on that. I spied a set of 18" rims 11.5" wide to fit some Toyo R888 305's on 'em.
Deal may take another week or 2 to finalize, but it should go thru nicely. Glad to say the 18" Toyo tire's are cheaper than the 19" version.

Kudos!

Maybe I'll ship you my 128 box for you to institute the traction control when it becomes available. Would that even be an option. I have a DD back up car.

Randy, Glad to see your up and running buddy. Now when you coming up here to catch up on some driving? Breast cancer awareness rally in NJ this week (street wars 6), if your free we're riding down with a few supras and z's...

Gotta get a ride when we catch up soon, I was going to go haltec but the proefi is becoming more and more of a positive for me, and im not one to touch end user interface so long as SP or PFS can tune it and well, thats all I need.

This is one hell of a writeup and a serious success. Glad to see your rolling again man.

Are you going to be able to fit 11.5" wide wheels on stock body?

I'm also going to be running Toyo R888 305 18" but I will be running it on a 18x10 which is the minimum width that you can run the 305's on.

Apart from that congrats on the car and hopefully we will catch up to each other both our cars have been down for so long.
