If not......drop the transmission.

After doing the rear diff by myself i dont think i would do it again. Much less the transmission. That is a lot of weight hanging over your head.
It is really not that hard. I've done the Z transmission probably 20 times by myself with just a jack. I've done my TH400 probably 10 times by myself and that makes the Z transmission look like a baby.

I believe 2003 uses the long pivot ball and newer vehicles like 2004-2006 350z and 2004-2007 G35 use the short pivot ball . I would get a chromoly short pivot bolt and not sure if you need a new clutch fork or not. I have installed the RJM pedal and it just takes some patience to tinker with the settings to get it just the way you like it.

Wondering if its worth checking the pivot ball.

We swapped the transmission and it probably came with the longer pivot ball.

Quamen and binder, you guys must be hulk!

lol, i'm a competitive bodybuilder but i wouldn't consider myself a "big" guy. I bent much more than that transmission and you are only going down with it so it's not bad. If you get a second person to help I could see even the smallest of guys to do it. I'm only 160lbs.

the pedal is easy to install. The turbo setup was much more complicated than that bracket. You'll be fine.

I wouldn't worry about the pivot. If anything the long pivot should give you more throw. I think it's just the nature of a heavy single disk clutch needing more throw on the clutch lever arm. You'll get that with the new pedal bracket.

Would like to see how some other peoples pivot fork/to slave cylinder look.

Pedal should be here soon.

TT install isnt that hard when you have the right tools, just time consuming. I bet I could pull the whole kit minus manifolds off in just a few hours now that I have done it once plus all the test fitting.

what do you want to see on the pivot and fork?

the pedal will be a breeze for you. I took mine out to adjust it in about 15 minutes. I think i spent 45 minutes on the first install. RJM will answer any questions you have and I will also answer any if you need some tips when it comes.

taking the trans out and putting it back in is pretty simple. ive done it twice now by myself. first time i tried using jacks then the second time i went under the car, pulled the tranny up on my chest and kinda bench pressed it up using my legs for stability. if you could get ahold of a tranny jack, i would do that.

Working on cleaning up the engine bay some more and modding my headlights. The cup install took awhile and many other things.

Order a mizu radiator and fan shroud. had the passenger side coolant pipe redone, just need to install it with the new fan and rad. 4 more gallons of npg.

relocated a bunch of the tanks and re-doing my intercoler pipes/intake ect

^yep. Same color as all my accessories. Green and red are complimentary. Hoping it turns out. From a distance and angles it will look black, with the right angle and light you will see the green.

She should be going into paint this weekend! Laundry list of things to do.

Trying to set up a tuning appointment but may have to wait since paint schedule could vary.
