havent got around to it. 713DD on pump and meth is fine

SPhas done alot more E85 tuning since its more available up there. I'd go with what they say. Sounds like the 1000cc will be just perfect on E85 for your setup. 850whp is alot!! I'd try to do an E85 tune from the start

i think i could handle going that route since i'm only on 1000cc injectors. i'll be right around 600hp so the breaking point for e85. I think i'll have plenty left in it to do e40. only crappy part is making sure my mixture is correct everytime i go fill up!

ah, i thought you didn't use the meth?

ya, i def wont' be at 850hp. i'm thinking 1000cc's will get me to the 600 hp range without worry.

well, being stuck in med school for now with no income it was hard enough to drop coin on the haltech let alone the 4 g's on a proEFI (the one large enough to do all that work).

i'll just have to push really hard for them to add FF sensor to hte haltech or just go all e85.

larry, i'm going to shoot you a pm about some e85 stuff since you do a lot of it.

You should of jumped the ProEFI when Larry@SP had em going for $1999. I saw that price and jumped on it!

still 900 for the harness then another 300 something for an FF sensor.

but i'm in stl right now for school (and 3 more years) so while i'm down here there is only a few e85 places around. Nearest one to me is about 15 miles away. so i can't rely on always having it. especially on that long drive back home when i have a weekend off. kinda risky

who is going to do your tune? There seem to be only 2 shops that know how to use all the features on the ProEFI. unless you are goin to be a guinea pig somewhere?

The ProEFI will do the work, all u have to do (not me, Roger) is set a map for high octane and it will adjust accordingly. No different then someone making a high octane map for the Haltec, only the ProEFI will switch on the fly without needing to be restarted/uploaded etc... If I have any issues SP does trouble shooting/questions answered much like hal does for haltec. So I'm not worried there! And not too mention there's a Supra shop in the area that does the ProEFI aswell.

Nope! Harness was included. And I got the 128 unit not the 48 unit!

oh dang!

i thought that you had to buy the harness separate. maybe that's the fkon i was thinking about.

holy crap, bum deal for me then. I love my haltech but i'd like to have adjustable map switching on the fly.

is there a cheaper way to display ethanol percentage other than zeitronix and the over priced sensor? 600$ to display something seems outrageous. If i could find something a bit better in price that would be awsome because i could then tune to e85 above 70% ethanol and if i notice that for any reason i'm below 70 i can just manually change back to my pump gas tune.

The ProEFI can guage displays damn near everything/anything! I believe its 399! It was 299 while supplies lasted but that went so fast when I called back the same day they were gone! Lol

Its displays afr/temps/ethanol/psi/pressures etc etc.. The list goes on and on! There's a thread about it in the product announcements!

i mean an independant gauge so i can monitor it with my haltech and not have to switch ems's. I'm happy with my haltech.

that zeo gauge like you have to use with the 48pin is the same way your'd read it on the haltech. haltech currently has no way to use the data though.

ya, that i understand. I would only use is so i know if i'm ok to use the e85 map or the pumpgas map. So if i have to put some 93 in the tank i can make sure i'm staying over 70% ethanol for when i want to use my high psi map. Otherwise it would be a guessing game if i had enough ethanol in it (unless i drained my tank but that's not going to happen every friday).

That 500+ for sensor and zeo gauge is a little bit rediculous.

i'll chart out e85 gas stations along the way to indiana. So far after 8 months i haven't noticed a single e85 pump between stl and terre haute. All those "e85" online locators are wrong. Every station it told me about in stl so far did not have e85.

i have no where to put a drum of e85 in my second story apt.....lol
