Default ***ProEFI NEW CAN Gauge features and options list!!!!

We have a HUGE list of features to list that the CAN Gauge can currently display when used in conjunction with our ProEFI standalone ECU. I decided since there were so many optional features and engine parameters to display, I would post up all of the features currently available for the ProEFI!!

I personally went through the CAN gauge while at Sound Performance and noted the following features:

-Map PSI---> Boost displayed in PSI
-Map KPA---> Boost displayed in KPA
-Fuel Press. PSI---> Real-time fuel pressure monitoring**
-Injector Duty---> Displays current Injectory Duty Cycle in %
-Instant Fuel Economy---> Just like the OEMs, based on fuel consumption
-O2 Fuel Multiplier---> Displays computer's correction based on O2 sensor
-Lambda 1---> AFR in Lambda format
-Target AFR---> ECU's adjustable target AFR
-Ethanol Percentage---> Displays % of Ethanol present in gas tank (standard on 128, avaialbe for 48)***
-MPH Potential---> Displays estimated MPH in 1/4mi run
-ET Potential---> Displays estimated Elapses Time in 1/4mi run
-Engine HP Potential---> Displays very accurate Crank HP based on fuel consumption in Real-time
-Current Rev Limiter---> Displays current rev limited setting
-Wheel Speed Differential---> Shows front to rear wheel speed difference, utilized by Traction Control system (currently 128 only, 48 coming soon!!)
-N2O Pressure PSI---> Bottle pressure for nitrous**
-Trans Temp F---> Auto transmission temperature in Farenheit*
-Trans Press. PSI---> Auto transmission pressure in PSI**
-Oil Temp F---> Real-time Oil temperature monitoring in Farenheit*
-Oil Press. PSI---> Real-time Oil pressure monitoring in PSI**
-Radiator Pressure PSI---> Real-time coolant pressure in PSI from radiator**
-Air Temp F---> Intake air temp wherever sensor placed (needed for all setups)
-Coolant Temp F---> Real-time coolant temperature in Farenheit
-System Volts---> Real-time volts present in system
-Spark Advance---> Real-time Ignition timing!!
-Exh. Back Press. PSI---> Back pressure present in exhaust system****
-I-Boost Mode---> with I-Boost activation ($120 for solenoid and control ****)
-Wastegate Duty Cycle---> Presents current state of spring in wastegate
-Boost Setpoint PSI---> Displays current boost setting in PSI
-Boost Setpoint in KPA---> Displays current boost setting in PSI
-Pressure Ratio---> Current ratio of Intake Manifold Pressure to Exhaust Manifold Pressure, used to determine efficiency of your setup

Key for optional features:
*denotes optional temperature sensor to display on CAN gauge $45
**denotes optional pressure sensor required to display on CAN gauge $149
***denotes optional Flex Fuel Sensor to display on CAN gauge $459 ($499 with -6 Russell fittings) and 48 unit requires Zeitronix Ethanol Analzer (more info below) $199
****denotes optional Back Pressure sensor to display on CAN gauge $169

The Zeitronix display is required for ProEFI 48 units to convert to analog inputs so the 48 unit can read and display the Ethanol Pecentage on the CAN Gauge. The Zeitronix display can either be mounted for constant monitoring (and so you can monitor different parameters on the CAN gauge if you so please) or hidden if you just want to display the Ethanol readout on the CAN gauge. Info on the Zeitronix Ethanol Percentage Anazlyzer/Analog convertor here:
http://www.zeitronix.com/Products/ECA/ECA.htm

Along with all these features, the ProEFI also offers its factory-based Traction Control (utilizing the factory Trac button and indicator lights, 128 only), Flex Fuel Sensor (for E85 and boost control users, 128 standard, 48 available), I-Boost (for those wanting simple, easy to use Boost control with the CAN gauge), advanced Knock Control (128 only), Data Logger, and more!!!

Now you all have a clear idea of what's involved and included with our ProFEI system!!! PM, email, or call my cell phone for more information or to set up an individual price quote for your needs, we will build it around you!!

Excellent post. I had a bunch of questions for Larry that you answered at one go! Thank you for enumerating what functions are for the 128 vs 48 units and for those where additional cost is required. I love that the auto transmission temp and line pressure can be displayed on the gauge - very nice.

Any pics of the 128 unit and Z/G harness? Wondering how you smash all that stuff into the passenger side footwell... Seems like it would be hard to fit with the connectors on the front face.

On the G35 that I put the 128 unit in, I installed the ECU under the passenger seat for a very clean install.

i considered extending all the wires on my haltech to mount in the same place, but it was wayy too much work. I'm sure you charge quite a bit to do that! I sure would.

Not too bad, when I order the harness from ProEFI I can specify the wire length so I just make sure that it is long enough to get me under the seat!!

Only 2 Can gauges left at the $299 price!!! Get em while you can (before the $399 price goes into effect). Perfect timing to go along with our recent sale on the 48 and 128 boxes

Hey Reid,
What's the latest update on the traction control??? I know Jason was working on it a couple of weeks ago...any new developments. Seems almost like a bit of a waste to upgrade to the 128 and still have no traction control...

Traction control was thought to be found, but when Jason went to test it, it was a no go. There are about a thousand lines of code that he has to cycle through to find the correct code for each of the 4 wheel sensors. Don't worry Randy, you will have it eventually!! The 128 is easily the better option of the two for more than just the traction.

Does the 128 unit work with an 05-06 Revup sedan? The pins do not match the ECU pins?

Nevermind. According to ProEFI it works.

# Nissan/Infiniti 350z/G35 2003- 2006 Pro128 (except 03/04 G Sedan) - $900.00
# Nissan/Infiniti 350z/G35 2003-2006 Pro48 (Except 03/04 G Sedan) - $871.29
