Default Say hello to my little friend

Sooooo I got a package today. I have been waiting for this one for about 3 weeks now, wondering if it will work out...

My little friend:

His name:

Some more infor:

Finally a true T4 ST kit for the 350Z?????

Fitment, it was ment to be:

Front to back shot with turbo in place:

So now I know that this will work just fine, there are no clearance issues. The turbo sits just as hight as with the E compressor cover, and that makes me happy.

It bolted right up to the piping for the T4 6262 turbo which is the standard turbo for the kit. The only thing that needed to be changed is the compressor outlet coupler, and the inlet coupler do to the S having both of those a bit larger.

I am also going to work on the turbo intake side. I have some 3.5" aluminum tubing here, and will try to make that fit, with a larger air filter.

Look for some more pictures this weekend.

I know at least two guys that will be very excided after reading this...you know who you are.

Don't know how much bigger your want to go. I just found a couple of youtube dyno videos with this turbo, and the numbers are impressive.

One of them was a Supra, same turbo (with a .96 a/r though) on E85 making 800rwhp and 759rwtq

Here is the video:

To answer your questoin, no, nothing bigger will fit. Anything that has a compressor cover larger than S will not fit. Not sure if other manufacturers cram larger wheels in to the S cover. I will only offer Precision turbos though.

good deal...

considering theres only like a handful of VQs in the 800+whp club, and none with a turbo anywhere near that small, I'd sure like to see it done!! It will take some serious boost!

We shall see how "small" it is real quick here. It will be pushed to the limit, and I think the numbers will suprise you.

I did not say it will make 800whp on a VQ, all I said is that the Supra made that much with this turbo. It was just thrown out there as something I found.

I have also found many people comparing this turbo the the GT42R. Again, just from my research on the turbo, and peoples experiences.

i'm so pumped.

greg, in a few weeks you'll get to see this bad boy in actino if you stick around on a saturday.

i'm gonna have wood for the next week til it meets my hands!

Just for anyone to know, this will be tested to the limit on 93 pump, 110 race, and e85. We'll find out just exactly how much it will make.

nothing will be holding it back but the turbo system itself. Full built engine, heads, cjm stage 3 fuel system.

believe me, any shop is nervous about running that much boost on an open deck aluminum motor. I didnt stop at 38psi because the turbos were outta breath or I was at more than 80%IDC
