Jtran Studios Presents turbo kits (fabrication thread)
below pics are actual manifolds that we have built. two different sr20det manifolds and one evo manifold. will be posting pics up of the actual 350z end of today. just finalized one of the runners to the actual t4 divided flange already. ic has been done already also.
If you're interested, can you PM me? I'm very excited & would love to see what you guys can do with this
Did a trial run tonight ... one of my axles didnt hold on my second run but I will be going back to the track sometime next week hopefully to be able to get a clean run....
I made one pass but let off after a vacuum line popped loose ... basically ran a 12.11 coasting a third of the 1/4 mile(more or less) and a 7.9 at the 1/8, i spun the tires of the two step but managed a 1.9 60'... ill post time slips ltr... again wasnt a full run and for the first time handling this power and not being at the track in over a yr its not to bad IMO!
side note this was on low boost set up at about 15 psi...
thanks JT for keeping me focused tonight!

On a sidenote...Would you guys be able to make one of these with an HFC for a Toyota 1mzfe V6 motor? I have it installed in my 91 MR2 and I'm going with a Holset HX35 twin scroll turbo.

I might have to try that. It appears this cannot be used if you turn off your wastegate and just run spring pressure since the upper part of the wastegate is blocked off from the atmosphere. Is that correct?
thanks, looking at my run i Log i was slipping quite a bit and the vacuum line to my meth kit popped out since the beggining of my run could of been much better ... plus i need to improve my sixty foot... here is the time slip

I say we slap on some slicks and let her rip. That'll bring that 60' down for sure
Just want to give JTran a bump. I was lucky to have him build the fuel system for my car and I saw him go the extra mile when it wasn't needed. He invited me into his home and is always willing to pick up the phone when I call for stupid questions. I will never let anyone else touch my car and will trailer my car to Houston from Dallas ( i have ) if it needs to be worked on.

Let's see how hard. Comparison to a PowerLab/Built/15 PSI coming soon ;-)
I don't mind loosing. Lol. It's just for funzies anyways and were buds
Me and the OP are good friends. My comment was meant more for a comparison that I'd like to see aswell as all our other friends. The OPs build is by far superior when compared to the POWERLAB kit. I really just want to see how bad he whoops me at 16 PSI and then on his high boost 22PSI MAP.
BTW. My Z made 508RWHP on JTs Mustang Dyno several months ago. Not bragging or anything just solidifying the fact that it's very difficult to break the 500rwhp barrier w that kit ;-)
