The motor didnt grenade, so there shouldnt be to much material in the oil passages, we are currently waiting on time to pull the motor for a visual inspection to see whats going on. Upon tearing it down and after inspection we will be sending the motor to the machine shop for further machine work. Here at Jtran we strive on customer satisfaction and realibility on our customers cars.

That's what we like to hear. Wish you guys the best in getting this up and running.

How much are we looking at for a manifold? I'm considering getting one (when I eventually do go FI, which is taking a lot longer than I had imagined lol...) and would it fit on an A/T? (I'm fine with getting this info via pm if that helps

- I keep seeing it over and over, people spin a bearing and think the block is the big loss. Its when you lose cams, turbos, headwork, oil pump, timing chains and guides, custom valve covers.... etc etc.
Block is one of the cheapest parts to replace (although admittedly a pita to replace). And usually a spun bearing can be fixed with some good old machining of the crank.
good news.... got the new block and heads back from the machine shop now just waiting on JT to put it back together, hopefully get this kit and motor back up and running!... finally! hope for the best once again!
good to hear. I'm in the same boat. Getting ready to tear down and take my block to get some work done.
After a week and 1000 miles later on the new motor its time to go back to see Johnny and start on final tune ... got to drive the car all week and man does it feel great to have my car back!.... turbo sounds spectacular and drive-ability of the car is great!
update! tires will not hold on the dyno! 21 psi dwindling to 20 psi by redline! toyot r888's 305s! will post videos soon! numbers will be released along with track slips by the owner soon! We want to thank alex for the patience he has had since the beginning of this build! This build is done!

Did a trial run tonight ... one of my axles didnt hold on my second run but I will be going back to the track sometime next week hopefully to be able to get a clean run....
I made one pass but let off after a vacuum line popped loose ... basically ran a 12.11 coasting a third of the 1/4 mile(more or less) and a 7.9 at the 1/8, i spun the tires of the two step but managed a 1.9 60'... ill post time slips ltr... again wasnt a full run and for the first time handling this power and not being at the track in over a yr its not to bad IMO!
side note this was on low boost set up at about 15 psi...
thanks JT for keeping me focused tonight!
