Default The Best F/I option...

Alright, so I've been doing a ton of research but I'm still uncertain on which way to go on a single turbo kit. I've looked at all the options (I think) and I know I want the single turbo over the twin (for cost reasons) and I've been reading all the forums about which kit does what etc., but I wanted to start this post directly talking about the kits I've seen for my car ('05 Base).

I've looked at the SFR kit but it doesn't look really impressive. The Power Lab kit looks solid. I've read somewhere about a kit from Momentum Motorsports, but it doesn't look like its available. A lot of people are using the Turbonetics kit but I heard it was discontinued, is that for real?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Why would you say our kit doesnt look impressive?? It makes the most power out of the Single turbos kits at the lowest boost level. It uses a true 3" downpipe with v-bands and you can still run a dual exhaust with it. It uses high quality parts and I think it is reasonably priced for what you get

Didn't mean to insult you or your company just kind of going off what friends have told me. Sorry about that. What kind of power does your kit make on a regular VQ35DE? I want to run the lowest boost I can so that works out. Just a few questions after looking at your website:

1. what size and brand injectors does your kit use?
2. what means of computer tuning does your kit use?
3. what kind of fuel pump does your kit use?
4. can I get the intercooler tubing in different colors?

I'd like to learn more about your kit so I can make a more informed decision of who to go with. Thanks for your input!

none of the kits are top notch straight out of the box imo.

Pretty much all of them require a upgraded ems. Depending on what your power level goals are will determine the amount of fuel upgrades you will need.

seriously?
with any kit...
1. you buy your own injectors (you should buy DW600s)
2. you buy your own EMS (you should ask your tuner what to use)
3. you buy your own fuel pump (you should buy a walbro 255l)
4. they can be gold plated if you desire, you are paying for it.

Well this is why we offer a "tuner system", no EMS, injectors or fuel pump and a Complete system...with injectors(550cc Bosch)mfuel pump,Walbro 255 and EMS,SS box(yeah yeah we know:-).But that is why we have options. And as far as the IC piping goes...it comes in a standard silver finish but it can be polished or powder coated for an additional charge.

Here are some better pips of some of the plumbing we provide with the single kit.

That would be awesome. Does anyone have a dyno chart?

str8dum1 - I'm assuming midz is talking about the single right? Do you have any charts of the SFR TT @ 5-6 PSI?

Yea, I was talking about the single kit.

Dyno chart for the single kit:

The TT kit did:

439 Horsepower, 449 ft/lbs, stock motor @ 8.5 psi
476 Horsepower. 429 ft/lbs, stock motor @ 10.4 psi
640 Horsepower, 531 ft/lbs, built motor @14.5 psi
740 Horsepower, 637 ft/lbs, built motor @19.9 psi

Dyno chart for the TT kit:
