I would have to drill a new hole for that and would have to plug the old one. I'd have to do it over the weekend if nothing else works.

Mine is located in the elbow that goes after the maf, before the TB.

That's what I ended up having to do. At first it didn't work and I was quite angry lol. Then I moved the tee fitting down and the problem went away.

What kind of line are you using? is it a plastic line?

I made the mistake of putting a rubber line the very first time I did my install and since it expands with pressure when the pump turns off it closes back up and continues to push the fluid into the nozzle.

Do you think that placing the nozzle further away would give it more time to atomize and smooth things out, especially those last brief moments when you let off and it seems to still be spraying?

I run my nozzle in the charge pipe lower than the level of the headlight coming off the FMIC, never had an issue.

mine spray 3" and 6" from the TB with no issue.... so i doubt physical distance is the issue, esp since direct port is very popular as well.

I also run a coolingmist inj system with a vortech. My nozzle mounted on bottom of pipe 1" before TB, boost activated @5 PSI and no issues with hesitation.

You may try mounting nozzle on bottom of pipe and adjust boost swich for higher PSI to ensure engine loaded.

I'm going to place it on the bottom today or tomorrow and check it out.

I do have a solenoid instead of a check valve. My coolingmist kit came with a solenoid.

I agree with sr8dum1 that distance to TB is not the issue.

BTW the Vortech kit you purchased from Chris M (CUX350z) I'm helping him with the TT swap in his Z, small world.

Hmmmm....looks like I'm gonna have to get the solenoid then. It's another $50.

It is a small world...

I'm in the US right now until the 6th so it'll have to wait till then. I already have the solenoid however so I hope my problems will end with this.
