Hey, so I see that has been popping up on Google.

We are in the process of launching a new website, and that is one of the new pages.

^ I got it from FB when you guys announced it

So the way I'm seeing it if we have a base fuel pressure of 45psi
and our pressure goes 1-1 boost dependent so if I'm running 20psi
that would give me a max fuel pressure of 65 psi which means the
DW fuel pump would be good for anything between 790-870BHP when it is getting a 13.5 voltage source.

Are my calculations correct?
BHP = Brake Horse power= Crank Horse Power?
Anyone know the true voltage we are getting to our fuel pumps?

I think your math looks good.

Because of the 1:1 boost reference, you are talking about a car that has already added a return line to the fuel system.

BHP is similar to Crank Horse Power, yes. ...and those are mathematical approximations, so there will be a little variance.

I think this is being proven to be more myth than truth. as far as the fuel goes, I think moisture in the tank becomes the biggest problem. I am running it in my evo all this winter with no more side affects than needing a 1-2 minute longer warmup. Evo crowd been running this for 4-5 yrs. time will tell, but I don't have concerns about corrosion

how often do you drive your car? I might not drive mine all month long.

anyone else have any input to what voltage we actually see at the pump? Is it ecu controlled lets say like 9v at idle and cruise, then ramps up to 12v or just shy at wot?

If that is the case you would only see the output listed on those flow charts with a boost-a-pump etc.

Also what kind of life or failure rate does a strung out pump get at 16v or 18v?

put 2k miles on it since 10/14 (when I bought it)

I drive it almost daily though.

I think if you made sure the tank was full before it sat for a while, I think you would be fine...... that is not to say a conversion would be for everyone. I don't know if I would convert my Z, but for my evo it is great ->
100 hp over pump gas
down only 2.4 mpg vs pump
save $0.67/gallon vs pump

We had our first round of shipments sent out to a few of our dealers. They should be making it to their locations tomorrow and the first of next week.

We will have them in more quantities and through most of our dealer network near the end of February or first of March.

Import Image is a sponsor of my350z, and they should be getting theirs Friday or Monday and he told me he has plenty available, so give him a shout on the phone or I believe he's on AIM @ importimagerace

GG, the warranty covers the pumps for 3 years, so they should live for that long at least...running 6v-18v on gas or E85.

Truth here. E85 is a truely awesome fuel for forced induction. Its cooling properties alone make it awesome for a knock deterrent.
