Well, if comparisons are going to be made with the PL kit (as others have been doing since Page 1), it's noteworthy to point out that the G35 version of the PL kit doesn't require cutting the rad support.

how does that turbo inlet pipe get in front of it then? any pics?
Yeah I don’t have a good picture of it but on my G35 coupe the intake filter sits right where my Injen intake filter sat. No cutting was required to fit it.

i never realized that, i guess ive only seen pics of PL Zs
The trimming of the radiator support for G35 vehicles isn't a fitment issue, the installer is instructed to do so via the instructions.
I don't view it as a bad thing either, because Momentum Performance's method places the filter directly behind the upper grill, which is excellent for direct air flow at speed. Ten minutes of trimming is well worth that benefit.

There are other ways to route the intake that don't require any trimming of the radiator support though. My intake sits right where the front bumper opening is and there's plenty of air flow to the intake from there too, it also sits closer to the turbocharger. I don't think it's a matter of how much time it actually takes to trim the support, most people would rather not have to trim the support, IMO.
