To my knowledge the cruise and VDC (if equipped) are identical. Not sure why theirs wouldn't be working. I used mine for almost 40 miles with no problems, and i would think that the ECU is supposed to work with either since 5ats come with the 3.3 stock.

 

Your CC will not work in 6th gear, but if you choose to use 5th it will. VDC will be normal as long as the tire differences are in spec.

People need to stop comparing a Z's time to a G35's time. And dont mention the "rule" of 100lbs = only .1 of a second because Ive found its more than that.

 

Interesting, mine is working in 6th... i cruised ~40miles in 6th gear and thats when that last pic was taken... Maybe a year difference? or maybe im just lucky that mine works?

 

I dunno if the tire size has anything to do with it. Mine wouldnt work with a 285/35/19 rear, maybe it does now that I run a 295/35/19??

 

Hm, i don't know, update us with the results. I'm going to drive mine again try it at different speeds, but i know for a fact that it worked at 80mph.

edit: im not sure that it makes a difference but i run a 255/35/19 front

 

Thats what I used to run in the front, now I run a 275/35

 

tire size shouldn't affect the fd/cruise issue, if the cruise was working before with that tire combo. But if you find anything out Alberto, let us know.

 

Mine has never worked in 6th gear, you read that correctly looooong ago when I posted it, good memory.

I hardly drive my $hitbox, so I wont be able to try it with the new tires anytime soon.

Next time I drive it, I may put on a helmet and park it into a fawking wall, godd@mn love/hate with this fawking car its sick.
