Before the car was turbo, I just ran lines from the core to the side of my water pump. Now those ports are blocked off. I can make new ports, but im not really worried about heat at the moment.

You said you're not running coilovers? What Suspension are you running? I'm about to do this swap and have been looking at what I should do about suspension

Well I just did some work. I ordered AeroCatch hood pins. Now my fingers hurt so im done working for the day. haha I got the factory hoodlatch to fit and work but I hate the way it looks. Plus the flush hood pins won't stand out TOO bad to the unsuspecting highway racer lol. So Im replacing the cross beam and just going to use it to attach the radiator and intercooler.

hwy racers in your parts put more value in hood pins over the sound of the engine when sizing up a match? I'l be heading that way this summer for some pinks racing if thats the case

Well, my car is very well known around here and I don't want to do anything that will make it stand out more than it already does! lol (its hard enough as it is trying to convince people to race me now)

Well I finally got off my *** today. I replaced my 5g shitty battery cable with heavy duty 2g, finished mounting the radiator and intercooler, and did a few other things. I just have to make one more brace for the under tray and then I can start final assembly of everything. I have to wrap all the pipes again, then finish up the inside wiring and the car will be alive once again. =) Hoping for Friday.

Dont mind the rough welds. They are already cleaned up. I just have to make the bottom support for the rad/intercooler/and the plastic under tray and then its all done..and it will be time to finish up the wiring and fire the car up.

it's crazy how a garage diy'r can make this much progress this fast, and you have builds sitting up in dedicated shops for a year that don't get done...
