How loud is the supercharger, in cabin? Is it annoying? Anyone have any sound clips, maybe? My car is already so damn noisy in the cabin already with my tires.

really, i'm just gonna tell you before you get flamed, but the last two threads you posted, the info you asked could have been found if you spent about 5 minutes searching.

as for your question, it's loud. it's sounds like a virgin screaming on prom night.

Vortechs sound like someone is skinning a live cat.

 

It is not loud dB-wise, but it is certainly audible. I find the whooshing annoying, but you don't NOT get it because it's a little loud.

 

I, like you, was concerned about possible noise both inside and outside of the cabin. Although there is a difference in sound, its definitely not annoying to me or to others outside of the car. All that time I spent being concern was time wasted. YMMV, but from my personal experience, it's not bad at all.

If anything, get the BOV filter from Vortech ($8), and it'll lessen the sound.

I posted a link in one of my prior posts, but there are ways to mod the filter to lessen the sound even more if you find that annoying later on.
