Old FI crew...
Seems like a lot of guys have dropped off the map. Off the top of my head, I could think of, coachk, maximumsportz, romey, doug, philthy, and a few others. Anyone ever hear from these guys?

I think alot of people got tired of all the bull$hit that would occur here. While it was entertaining it made alot of good threads unproductive. I still lurk around, but it seems that alot of the pioneering has been done already, therefore little excitement remains
The JT/Shariff/Julian Trio made for some funny ****. That combined with the nutthuggin would create the ultimate cluster f%%k threads. Reading that endless drama made the hours fly by during my classes in college lol.

It was fun, but really it was just arguing over who installed kits and tuned the best since no one was actually fabbing anything. Seems kinda dumb to me in retrospect. However, there were a lot of very heated discussions back in and was very entertaining...
except the bold. It made my days fly by at work. Esp the VRT threads lawchick law suits etc lol

Romey has become the king of twitter (or was). Doug has been more focused on bikes (he posts in the motorcycle section of this board), his family and making money.
Chris I'm surprised you even posted in this thread.

A lot of drama, hype, and fluff over simple TT kit installs, cookie cutter "builds" that lacked custom fabrication or any real innovation, and weaksauce tunes with power levels that weren't anything to brag about compared to other platforms. Julian, Sharif, and JT were NOOB tuners with no prior experience who were learning on the fly on customers' cars as they went ...all the while pretending to be more knowledgeable and experienced than they really were. Just a lot of posturing and pretending between rival NOOB VQ bubble shops and their nuthuggers. While entertaining at times, it got stale and tiresome.

i would have to agree and say this forum is not what it used to be when i joined...there were actually good threads not which exhaust should i go with or intake or wheels bla bla bla...all i every see now is those threads and people making their car look absolutely stupid and think thats called modding and saying they spent 50k on body kits and ****..
I agree, however with street/killz section; we will hear more stories of death due to stupidity. Not to say that those kinds of things wouldn't happen anyways, but it would only encourage more street racing just so people can post their stories.

I hardly ever posted but the FI section was always fun to hang around.
