need some help, decided to do cams after talking with my shop and they contacted a few others about Hr stock cams breaking with upgraded springs and retainers(seems to be a rarity), figured might as well while its out and avoid that in case it was an issue. noob when it comes to cams tho and lift so curious what your guy's thoughts would be for sizing, jwt only makes one size a 262 with 12mm of lift. tomei has quite a few other sizes tho so im lost lol

Over 11mm lift you need new pistons with relieves. What duration and list you want to run is up to you and your builder about what type of powerband you want.

Good to see things moving forward! Wish I had something to contribute here but I didn't go that road so don't have any experience with it at all.

I would be so pissed if a shop laid my engine out on he floor like that. I believe you are having this done at Intec Racing right ? There is nothing but parts laying all over that shop.
Be careful...

Ok let me clarify.. There was a lot of cars with engines torn apart spread out all over the place. There was parts piled on each other all over the place. Employees on the clock but nobody working on these cars . Cars that have been there for mnths with no cover on them and employees bumping into them with parts. I feel sorry for the red g with it's engine and turbo kit being kicked across the floor. So yeah... Classic nightmare shop.. Let us know how it goes..

has been great from day one, dont know where all your hate is coming from but theyre head mechanic Mike treats my parts with the utmost care and like i said was cleaned and boxed up immediately after being looked at by the insurance adjuster. the cars that are stored in the shop are customers who have left thier cars there and have not paid or gotten back to intec with any form of communication to my understanding one of them is a lady who dropped off an honda civic eg hatch and then moved over sea's with no fore warning and has been gone for over 2 years now. they treat everything ive seen with great care and respect

Not to thread jack / nuthug- but I am going to weigh in here as the "red G" and mention that despite the car sitting for awhile all reports I've had from the locals is that the car is in good hands and it's the absolute last thing on my mind. These guys love what they do and it shows with the end result. The means does not always deliver the end- and whatever they're doing and however they're doing it... it works for them and their customers. I'll take some clutter in the hands of an artist over an operating room at the disposal of a hack.

Not ALL of the cars stored there are from non-paying flight risks, ya know!! Sure, I'm now in Northern Alberta about 3000kms from Seattle but my dues are paid.
