Default insurance

Would you mind going into some more detail about specifics concerning how in the world you got your insurance company to cover that??!?!?! I'm curious if it was under a specific type of policy and what proof or documentation you had to provide.

Please PM me if you would. I currently have my G covered under a "Specialty vehical" policy which after much reading of the fine print still excludes any forced air intake/equipment.

I can't imagine how you succeeded in squeezing any maoney outta those suckers.

Are you going to stay with the Osiris for tuning? No HalTech or anything?

its not my insurance company, its the gas stations insurance company. the station admitted to having contaminated fuel after i came back by 2 days later and they're premium pump was out of order, i went in and questioned the owner further about this (its a commercial fueling station that i use because i have an account there for my business) and told him what happened, i was among 10 other cars who had the filled up that night with the contaminated premium. they paid out of pocket to flush the other cars and oil change etc, but it melted my engine down, severe scaring in all cylinders and scorched the valves pretty bad/ so i brought it to they're attention and the station contacted they're insurance. I've been dealing with and fighting with they're insurance for the last 3 months but finally got it all figured out, we settled on them replacing the injectors fuel pump pay for the labor of tear down and reinstall and the price of oem pistons rods valves and the machine shop expenses to hone out the scared cylinders, minus betterment of 15% off of the oem pistons rods and valves. And had me sign an affidavit saying they're not liable for anything after they cut this check.

if you are wanting to max that fuel pump out you will need to upgrade your fuel system more. The stock rails and tiny 5/16th oem supply line will be very restrictive.

I would put at least an 8an supply line and some upgraded rails and you should be able to crank out some more HP. You'll find that stock hardline supply pipe will restrict flow and it will appear that you are running out of fuel pump due to the increased resistance of the small pipe.

sorry has rails already didnt mention that above, has the cjm rails, and has a bigger upgraded line aswell

shooting for high 5xx's or low 6xx's we'll see what it maxes out at, was making 530 prior on a walbro 255

good deal. You have about a 20% increase in fuel so that should help you get the goal without any problems.

Frick man- glad to hear it worked out in the end. I see mikes just busy as ever! The guy is amazing.

Good luck with the build. Hope you squirt through that machine shop quickly and get work started sooner rather than later.
