No, just curious more than anything. The turbos are rated for 700 so I was just curious what it would take to get there.

long block is all assembled clutch and tranny will go on tommorow morning and then process will start of getting it back in the car, if that goes well looking to have it tuned and running tuesday/wednesday. (knock on wood)

update, motors in the car just need to finish hooking lines and plugging the ecu and haltech in. should start today and get tuned tomorrow

haha ty hoping it holds up this time, going to keep it simple and getting rid of the meth this time, doing a low pump gas tune 16 maybe 18 psi. and then down the road this summer doing a c16. enjoy it a little before we push it again XD im gunshy

motor is in and car is running! will be doing a mild tune today and run it for a week or so and make sure everything is bottoned up correctly and theres no quirks!

Mild tune on osiris today. Did 650/550 on 1 bar. Going to do the haltech tune and some cam phasing next weekend

What would cause two HG failures in a row with less than about 500 miles driven total? Warped heads? Warped something else?

Frick dude- I went through some crap but at this point where you're at I'd be ready to sell the car. It's only words but I'm really sorry you're going through this. I was hoping you'd catch a break this time around and get a chance to enjoy that beast. I know you've been at this since September or so...

yes, after twice it's not an equipment issue. installation or prep is probably the culprit.

That the headgasket isn't the problem? Seems believable to me.

Warped heads
warped block
bore drilled crooked
crack in the heads or block

these are all things that should have been addressed by the machinist prepping the engine hence a PREP problem not equipment problem.

Over torque or under torque on the bolts would be an install problem. I guess cracking the heads could be an install problem as well.
