Back on topic...I'm still having some small clicking noises under the car when the chassis is rocking (1st gear accel, decel) but the car is running great. I haven't been able to drive it much because of the rubbing of the rear tires. The fender roller is coming in tomorrow but I'm leaving to take the kiddies to Disney World Wednesday night. I did receive the dyno from Jon at Z1 Motorsports so I'm posting that here. Got some dippity-doos on the top end. Not sure what that is as I haven't been able to ask. Any ideas? The powerband is so broad! I love the way it feels. It comes on really hard at 4k and pulls all the way.

anybody experience a metallic ringing noise when the clutch pedal is pressed in? I have the OS GIKEN Twin plate and HD CSC. when at idle and the car is in gear or in neutral, if I press the clutch in I can hear a metallic "ringing" noise like something is loose. Never hear it when the clutch is engaged.

The flywheel is extremely loud on the os giken twin, perhaps thats what you are talking about? it sounds like there is something wrong even.

twin disk clutches are loud. The metal plates between the friction plates will rattle around. It's the same sounds that the dry clutch on ducatis make.

There isn't as much floating around in a single disk clutch to make that kind of noise but when you add 2 or more friction plates with metal plates between then they rattle when pressure is taken off of them.

verdict: normal

Yeah, i'm hoping its not the throw out bearing. I have a feeling to do the throw-out bearing with the GTM kit will require removal of the downpipes.

Here is a good audio clip of the sound I am talking about. It will be a little louder since the phone was under the car recording.

Any ideas on what this sound is? Thanks in advance.

The sound clip confirms, sounds like just about any multi-disk clutch.

So you get very limited to low boost setups. I think if companies came back with Osiris now adays they might actually get a few kits to pass.
Stillen SC is CARB approved and has fuel pump and injector upgrades.

To handle the fuel management for the supercharger system STILLEN has gone directly to the ECU. By changing out to larger injectors and fuel pump (supplied in complete kit) STILLEN is able to take control of the factory ECU and re-map it for the boosted application. This tuning method is handled via reflash using the UPrev software tuned by STILLEN engineers. This supercharger system comes in two options. Either fully tuned (most popular) or Tuner. The tuner kit does not come with any fuel management and comes with no warranty expressed or implied.

That's a TON of HP and torque! Clutch upgrade was a good move...but I gotta tell ya...you're on the ragged edge with the stock internals/tranny/ axles. You have a 600 HP motor now (crank)..double the factory rating.

your enthusiastic with your posts ill give you that... but you need to read a little before making comments like that ^. stock trans driveline and diff on these cars can hold 1200 whp. theres a few shops and private cars that have made that much on them. the only issue with the axles is when running slicks and theres no slip.

I see you left out the part about other stock internals..namely rods..pistons..bearings.
As to stock driveline (trans/axels) holding 1200whp...please back that statement with specific accounts. I'd love to read about it.

as far as transmissions, every car on the top 25 drag list is on stock pumpkin and drive shaft.

that includes the SP car the injected cars, vinny ten cars, etc.

axles are upgraded based on need, but DS and pumpkins are always stock.

i made 530 whp on a dynojet on my stock internals and abused the **** out of it until i got contaminated fuel and it owned my valves and piston rings and scarred my cylinder walls. as to how long theyll last it just depends on the tune and how the car is driven. if its a good tune and the cars taken care of it'll last a fair amount of time. but as we all know getting into FI your **** can grenade at any moment. HR has decent rods from the factory and people are just getting to boosting them so we'll see how long the average one lasts. and what str8 said above. look at the top FI numbers all those on there except the auto trans cars are on stock trannys and diffs and majority of them axles aswell.

Car is running well. Have developed an exhaust leak on the right wastegate recirculation tube. I can here a tat, tat, tat sound under boost. Can only hear it when the windows are up and the radio is turned down. Haven't put it on a rack yet to tighten it up. Hopefully its not an issue. Will keep you posted.
