Mazworx | Anatomy of a 4.1L 1200+whp VQ Engine Build
Holy hell you guys are awesome.
You wanna dish out what's going on under that stock looking plenum? Cams etc....
And due tell of your rev plans too. Max rpm... dry sump?
I'm willing to bet you wont find a hungrier/supportive/active community for information on huge hp vq's than right here on my350z, I know I love this kind of sh*t, so I bet other people do at least as much.

Nothing really to hide. Its pretty much all off the shelf stuff. Supertech valvetrain, Kelford cams. We are running the stock oil pump right now and see how that goes. This is pretty much going to be a r/d motor. Push it to its limit then see what breaks and make it better.
We just have to rewire our Motec for the 6 cylinder. So hopefully we can accomplish that in the next couple days. After it's running in the car, we plan to pull it back out and engine dyno it. Here's our SR:

After a few years of hiatus and collecting dust in the corner of our shop, the last few months we decided to put it back together with a new powerplant. More details to come soon but here is a short video clip.
