If anyone was at Vinny's Nissan Shoot Out, you would have seen us run the 8.37. The track was not prepped to well, so we had to turn it down quite a bit and I let off at the 1000'. I believe the car has 7s in it.

Valiant effort guys, it was a scary watching you struggle with the poor track prep!! Car sounded and looked great as usual.

Wish I could have made it to see the car run.

Just an update. We went 1/8 mile testing and started turning up the boost. Second pass I felt a little problem with the car and let off. Still went 5.41 @ 137 in the 1/8. Took it back to the shop and this is what we found. Cracked the block! Right under the driver's engine mount. I guess I had too much faith in using the stock engine mounting location. We will get build another block and will have to use motor plates instead.

It looks like it is a non internal crack, couldn't you just weld and reenforce it, the second picture looks like the upper oil pan, that doesn't look that bad

Wow, cracked right around the engine mounts. Beats rods flying everywhere, at least here you have a clear solution.

You know, I'll take that block off your hands. Seeing as it's cracked and well totally un-useable and all...

Hey guys, I know it's been awhile. We've finally had some time to take the car out. Been dialing it in at some bracket races. This past weekend we went to the NDIMA race in West Palm Beach. If no one knows, the south florida guys like putting 2Js in 240s. We were 1 of 2 Nissan powered Nissans out there. The other was an RB powered S15. We ran a personal best of 8.27 @ 169 and end up winning the event. Our next step is to spray the car all the way down the track and get it in the 7s.

Check out the video:
