Our problem is 91 octane. If your car was tuned for 100, C16, E85, or meth, you would last years at 475hp/400tq on your stock block.
I agree with you but I wanted to keep it below the threshold.

I have to get used to this car again. The sound of the racing bpv but its freaking loud. I might need to modify this in the near future if I dont get use to it.

Thanks everyone for your compliments!

invurg35 great power gains! Did Rob happen to send you a graph with the boost to show how it ramps up?

Thanks Gabe!

Should I change my name to invurg35? I like it!

I asked him for one but he said his dyno isnt set up for it yet. Something about a device he needs. Not sure what that meant. He should have it sometime next year.

I would love to know the ramp up info myself. Do you know of any shops around the bay that can provide that?

Haha, i was making a statement about my current state after seeing that dyno graph

I know of two shops but I've never been to either, hopefully one of the local guys can chime in.

How much boost have you been seeing at cruising rpms?

Your testing me right? No boost at cruising speeds... Boost rises when the RPM increases.

^no joke, at your normal cruising rpm, like say 3k rpm, how much boost do you see? Your boost linearly increases as your rpm goes up so it'll start low and peak out towards the top.

you dont build boost when cruising.

Man, with even a 5 smoothing on those dynos, those curves looks very choppy. I cant even imagine how rough they'd look on a smoothing of 1.

Look how smooth your baseline is. Thats what your new curve should look like as well. I know its "detuned" but theres no reason to make the powerband soo choppy when doing so. Smoother is safer

This tune looks alot better. I would stuck with that for sure after it all the dips were cleaned up. The proper smoothness of the trq curve is really obvious on this graph as well.

^yeah, I was curious to see how much boost builds up to the point where he is at cruising speeds not when he is coasting.

I agree smoother is safer. I will speak with Rob and see if there is anything he can do to clean it up. Thanks for your input.

I'm curious as to what Rob says about the smoothness of our torque curve. Let us know.

Nice, I will take you up on that when I am back from Korea on the 20th. My car should be done by then too so we can have a micro meet in the peninsula, haha.

I had a G35 before my 350Z!!! I called my "back seat" a Leather covered area for jackets, because people don't fit well back there

These last couple of days have been a blast. The car is runnign like a beast. The sound of the BPV just scares people when I roll by, lol.

So far nothing but smiles from me and all my passengers, which includes my wife! Always a plus when she is smiling!

Mad props to ZCG I will be posting a review on them in the review section since that place hardly gets any attention!

I will keep posting here with updates! Thank you all for your advice and compliments!
