Thanks.. I missed it so much.. A little over a month, I was having withdrawls, but it was worth the wait.

I was so indecisive with parts and then adding more parts throughout the build. Hence the long wait! I bet Rob was like

Sup Gabe did a few 4th gear WOT's and this is my estimated ramp up on psi until redline using my boost gauge. Had a couple of friends in the car help me out. Hopefully, Rob can have his Dyno provide psi soon. Then I can get a more accurate reading.

Cool, thanks for the info. How are you liking your FI car now that you've had it for a while?

I'm loving it. Having the power there when you need it, is awesome! I just realized now that I'm FI so many people want to street race. It makes me giggle inside, lol. I try to avoid it when possible.
Although, I did get to put the smack down on a camero ss the other night on the hwy (it was late night). He rolled up after with a wtf look on his face, classic!

My car is at the San Jose Auto show right now being showcased by ZCG. I think he had like 15 customers cars there. On monday he is going to tweak some stuff and is going to upgrade my filter to a CAI and retune it. I'm also asking him to provide a 100 octane map for future 1/4 track sessions.

How is your car coming along? I can wait for the results! We have to get a meet going once its complete.

^good to hear man. Is it audibly obvious that your car is FI or is it because of the FMIC?

You know how it is with these project, just gotta hold out and make sure everything is done right. Don't want to rush things but I'm hoping before the end of the month before I go back to Korea.

Yes these projects take time. I allowed ZCG to have mines until they felt 150% it was ready. Im glad I did!

My FMIC is blacked out so you can't really tell its there unless you really look close enough, you wont be able to tell from inside your car. And my car is loud but if you come up to me on my side and you have your window rolled up you wont hear anything. Maybe I get more attention now that I'm dropped. Not sure....

Update 1/17/12..

I decided to install a CAI and have ZCG tune a map for 100 octane since I had a full tank of gas in it. This is where it put me at.....

I have to go back to ZCG and have my 91 map updated and see what kind of numbers the CAI net me. For now, I can mash this map

I was going to do it myself to save some money, but my car was at ZCG for the break-in period and tweaking of my vortech system. So I just had them make a custom CAI and retune it. A little pricey but well worth it. My opinion of course.

With a little research you can custom make one and install it yourself. Just make sure to get a retune.

I have an aftermarket steering wheel that removed my cruise control so it's not easy for me to switch back and forth between Osiris maps. I need to rewire my cruise control buttons before I get a 100 map.

Your car looked great at the show. I love the "almost sleeper but not quite sleeper" look.

The overheating issue turned out to be my radiator fan plug wasn't snapped in all the way. Scared the crap out of me when I saw my temp gauge pointing straight up.

Cool, I'm glad it wasnt anything serious. All the cars look great at the show.
Thanks for your compliment. Hopefully I will see you around sometime.

Word. There was a company that use to make them right? I'm interested to see if there were any gains.

Congrats on the numbers though. Vortech's definitely have proven themselves in the 6 years I've been on this forum.

When is ZCG going to start selling the custom CAI's for Vortechs? There will be buyers...

a 3.5" 90* silicone coupler and a piece of 3.5" pipe will put the filter right down in front of the front tire. 20$ CAI.

Thats what I used.

I was talking about the pipe from the intercooler to the tb as the custom piece. Like deleting the stock maf housing and the short coupled pipes.
