My Vortech Build

Also, wonder if a vortech system would benefit from greater amounts of volume in the intake manifold?
I mean, a supercharger is creating positive pressure/force feeding the cylinders (cylinders not feeding themselves)...
where as a natural aspirated system relies of vacuum created by the cylinders and atmosperic pressure to feed the cylinders..
and on a na system having a spacer/mrev2 lessens restrictions and allows the cylinder to breath more easily...
So would a spacer/mrev2 allow the supercharger to forcefeed the cylinders more easily?

I went to ZCG today to drop off a 350z carbon fiber engine cover. Rob showed me the other set up for the edfc controller, oil pressure, and A/F gauge in the upper compartment box and looks ****. But, I forgot to take a picture to post.
I should see my car mid-week of next pending no issue with the tune, crossing fingers. I will continue to keep you all posted!
ZCG had been amazing thus far! They have been keeping up with my everyday add-ons and changes throughout the build. Hence it’s taking longer than expected. I keep throwing ***** at them! Lol

Delayed into next week.
1st issue: The Tein coilover/edfc system I purchased from another member (won't discuss name at this time, giving the member a chance to rectify). The edfc was bad, it powered on but the display wasn't working so I had to order a new one. Edfc replaced and suspension all good now.
2nd issue: One injector was bad, Injector Dynamics shipped a new batch of injectors. All good now.
Started to tune yesterday and came to find out Rob installed a 2.87 pulley and it boosted to fast/high. Rob had to pull alot of timing and didn’t like the way it felt. I agree with him that the 2.87 is too much for my stock block. Keep in mind I’m running an SI trim. It was my bad for not being specific (I thought I was, guess not) when I told him I wanted to go with a smaller pulley. Ordered 3.12 today and will be here Monday.
This is where I decided to install the EDFC, Oil Pressure, and A/F gauges.

Hopefully Rob can get you all squared away. Small things like that are bound to happen on such a big build.
Rob finished my car today...had everything installed and tuned. Dyno numbers are in. He took it out to get it washed before I picked it up and the rear differential/subframe bolt snapped and my pumpkin fell out Landed on my exhaust, dented it, and now I have to overnight another diff carrier bushing. So close to getting my car back!

yeah, i dropped it off on monday morning. rob is installing momentum headers, ART test pipes, fluidampr crank pulley (should increase the supercharger's impeller speed to where it was with the 2.87 pulley ), swapping out my Fuji catback for a FI catback, and retuning. i've also asked him to check on a few odds and ends as well. they've been backed up for a while now, so i'm glad he was able finally able to fit me in.

Another delay today. Throttle Body gave out. Rob tested it twice and recv'd the same code. He ordered a new unit and has been installed. The 3.12 pulley came in and has also been installed. Rob ran out of time for tuning. Hopefully no more issue will come up during tuning tomorrow. Update to follow.....

He said it was sticking, and kept closing slightly in the higher rpm and the engine would stall. Then it went into a fault code and the throttle would not react. This happened twice same code. At this point, I just said go ahead and replace the unit. I didn't even bother to ask for the code but will once the car is ready.

mt TB seems to keep losing its calibration. It will show 2-3 %tps at idle which f's with my adaptive idle setpoint. I do the TB foot pedal reset and it goes back to 0% tps at idle like expected. Not much of an issue know that I know whats going on, but its in teh bucket list to fix somehow.
