Their site IS crappy to navigate, isn't it?

You are looking for the "Accelerator Race Fuel Concentrate".
I just call them to make sure Linda sends me the right stuff:

http://torcoracefuels.com/torco/power/accelerator.htm

The Blue can is the unleaded stuff.

I haven't read the last few pages but why not just buy a gallon or two of 104 at the track? How much is this stuff? The track gas is like 5 bucks a gallon. Is this a better value or something?

Let's do the math:

$5 x 10 gal = $50

$1.60 pump gas x 10 = $16
+
$12 can of torco

= $16 + $12 = $28 for 10 gal of 94 Octane

You tell me...

Plus, all of us don't do our racing at the track... always...

That was my logic too, I am ordering a crapload of this stuff! Thanks again for the link. P.S. I eat T/A's for lunch here and crap Z28's. Not yours of course just on the streets.

My car is by no means "base" or stock" though and you have two more cylinders than me.

Did you go look at my FireHawk 5177 intake?

Here is my Z.

MAN! That's a lot of pics. Cool Stuff! I have to browse it when I get back from my inlaws today.

On a car as light as yours and 400 RWHP, I don't doubt it! Even the stock version in the high 200 RWHP and weight should give a stock T/A or Camaro a run for the money. If the LS1 has a good hookup, torque would probably beat you out the hole. But, mu car weighed almost 3750 with me in it BEFORE the SC and iron block... and HD Torque Arm, AND subframe connectors, etc.

Too bad I'm not close to you guys.. I'd have to come on over and show you how it's done!

Did you actually plan to replace the entire plumbing for a continues metal tube, with no joints? It would have to be designed pretty close, with little margin for error. How do you plan to do it?

nah....i was thinking small adapter joints, but i wanted to eliminate the larger pieces of hose, and perhaps have the couplings on the new pipe be silicone pieces.......similar to the turbo set-ups that we've seen

The hoses they gave me have lasted over two years. I replaced a couple once because I'd cut one a bit short for when I wanted to relocate my MAF to the "Before SC" position for easier tuning at idle and cruise of LTFT's.

There are some guys that have discussed this in the LS1 forums. They mostly want to do this to get more a more "metal polished" look under the hood. I saw one guy do this, and along with the polished Inlet Plenum (he chrome polished the SC, too, I believe) it looked awesome.

It's mostly a show piece, though. No practical reason to do it that I know of.

elektrik_juggernaut, who did you talk to at ATI? I think I'd like to talk to him and get an answer on why they gave you such poor customer service. It is just so out-of-character from what I've experienced.

Who knows, the attention from someone else calling about it may encourage them to work with you more on your issue.

I need longer connecting hoses for better positioning. The present placement causes a slight bulge to the front fender protector and rubbing when the left front wheels are turned full right.

Either that or I'll have to get that particular run flatten slightly.

And, yes the visible sections would be to match my polished Plenum

I've talked to ATI several times, and generally had a good experience. One time, I got a tech with a really bad attitude, and he actually started yelling at me and then hung up on me. But, I called back and talked to the tech support manager, and he said he'd take care of that problem, and also got me the info I needed. If you have trouble, just talk to the tech support manager, he's very willing to help.
