Default Vortech V3 with Osiris Tune Dyno

Just wanted to post up dyno numbers of my 350z. The guys at stillen said this was a conservative tune, as it goes real rich at 5600-6400 rpm. I guess the stock injectors are at the limit at that range. They told me I will need bigger injectors and a smaller to pulley to come close to 400whp. I am quite happy with the results as it is my daily driver.

Car:

2003 6 Speed Manual
57,000 miles

Modifications:
Vortech V3 SCi Complete kit - CARB legal
Motordyne 5/16 spacer
HKS True Dual
Osiris

Baseline 343 whp @ ~6500 rpm at 7.1 psi
Final tune 361 whp @ ~6500 rpm at 6.5 psi

I'm surprised they didn't tune out that extremely rich spot.

Its real conservative I'm sure I could have hit 370 whp if they tuned it out.

OP states 2003. Maybe a 5/16 spacer and exhaust. I think he is trying to keep it carb legal.

Yeah staying carb legal. I may do headers, IDK i think its time for suspension, wheels, and some aero. I am very happy with the power, as I need to learn how to drive it again.

ya, if the injectors are running out then you should be lean, not rich. they should have adjusted that out. Since it's bottomed out at 10:1 and that's as far as it reads you could be down in the 9:1 and not even know it. I would go back and make them fix it. Dumping tons of fuel in doesn't make it "conservative". Too much fuel will cause excessive combustion temps.

Also, your boost shouldn't have changed if your pulley didn't change. The fact that the boost dropped makes me think belt slip and judging by the dyno it looks a little like belt slip or a boost leak. The boost curve is dead nuts on until 5300rpm when the second tune seems to level off a little. Small leak or belt slip. I would start by tightening the belt since it's easiest.

ya, sorry for being negative. The numbers are good so i hope you like it. I just hate when shops neglect small stuff like that to a customer that wouldn't know any better.

You paid for it so they should put all the effort you paid for into it.

I agree with binder that its annoying when shops dont put that extra effort in to fix stuff like that dip in AFR around 5800

As for the boost drop, definately check the belt but its only slight so mabye a change in cam timing (if they touched it) casued that.

not on a supercharger. boost pressure on s/c is constant since it's directly tied to the rpm (unless the belt slips)

It isn't exactly set. If the flow of the engine changes ie headers are added boost can drop and hp gained from the better flow.
Cam timing adjusts how the engine flows hence it can cause a slight change in expected boost. If there is a large change in the cam timming in that rpm range it could account for that drop.
Having said that I would still check the belt
