Running strong, and nice car for sure, but don't you want to really utilize that motor?

I mean that things fully built. Isn't 600whp a bit low to just stop at for a sleeved engine?

IDK. If I dropped that much coin into an engine I'd expect it to be a rocket ship.

Either way not trying to knock on ya, just asking.

Pretty sure it's over 700 on race gas.

140 on a street car is sick. If its running good and running reliable I'd cross my fingers and not change a thing.

I'd hope so, and hopefully on a dd. if it was dj etc

I'm so sick of all the DD "heartbreaker" dyno nuthugging on this forum over the past couple years. DD vs DJ d!ck swinging contests are beyond fawking ghey. Trap speeds are what really matter.

Exactly

I'd rather say I have a 140mph car than brag about any whp dyno number.

Guys that brag about dynos don't have track times to brag about. It's obvious.

Trap speeds are proof but the dd thing is pretty on point imho.

I've been in an evo that DD'd 500whp, and I've been in a dsm that dyno jetted slightly higher.

The evo was noticably faster (in car and trapped a few miles faster) and had a bit more lag... Two different animals, same engine. hell the dsm was lighter. I am now convinced. Nobody's going to show me otherwise lol.

A dyno is just a tool. It's a matter of what your tuner uses or has access to. If you want to validate the dyno numbers, take it to the track. Bragging about having a DD dyno number vs something else is queer fluff IMO.

The DD in my area reads higher than DJ's. How about them apples.

Truth is DD and any other brake-based dyno can read whatever the tuner wants it to.

Track #'s are the only true numbers.

Except the tracks that are at lower elevation, lower ambient temps etc

If you guys wanna go tit for tat, you end up nowhere.

Edit for Rich the following statement applies to most but not all G35/350Z running 850bb turbos.....

There becomes a limit of how much power you can make with pump gas. Mine is Sleeved as well and the low 600s is where pump gas (91oct for me) starts to be not enough obviously a lot of factors come into play. I don't think too many VQs with GT30 turbos Make much more than 600whp on pump gas without meth usually around 650 with pump/meth is the top of the chart. So unless you're running race gas don't expect much more than 650whp unless you have large turbos.

I am well over 600 on pump gas.

GTRs are making 1000whp on pump gas.

it all boils down to how big your turbos are and how how your VE is. Ive got big turbos and good VE. I could probably push 750+ on 93, if i cared to. That would be maybe 18psi.

Video is of 17psi on pump gas. Just showing that the car doesn't need to be in kill mode 24/7 and makes that much power on just 17psi.

We have made well over 800 on this setup with c16.

As most real drivers know, horsepower on the street isn't everything. I have had this car for more than enough time to know 560-580ish is a killer street car for reasons I can't explain on the forums lol. 600+ just makes for some crazy fun that can be deadly with the wrong person behind the wheel. The car can def make more on pump, however this is a simple street map tune and anyone that states they need more that 630hp on the street in a 3,400 rwd car= full of $hit
