couple updated pics for ya. Got some custom oil feed lines made. Really nice fit, got rid of the banjo bolts and all that junk. Got the oil temp sensor tapped into the sandwich plate...last pic is my custom heat shields ceramic painted.

Great photos!! I have steel braided hoses for my oil scavenge - much better look if nothing more.

what are you going to do about your oil pressure sensor? that was mounted where youre tapping your oil??

If you're gaskets arent installed yet I sprayed mine with copper spray - might be something to consider

I'm still working on that PS fitting/bend mod for you - I do have a second hard pipe which I might photo shop...assuming you still need a little guidance on that?

There is a bolt above the oil filter that I drilled/tapped for the pressure sensor. I'll snap a pic of it. hopefully there is enough clearance for it. As far as the PS line, the guy welded the pipe coming off the turbo and it looks like it may clear it? I'll have to see once I get it back in the Z. From what ive read most people just bend it out of the way. One issue I see it the driver side turbo charge line. It seems to be hitting the idler puller for the AC compressor. Doesnt seem to be a good fit there, and my oil return line is right there in the way too of course. I put a 90 on it but it still looks tight. Ill snap some more pics. Once I mounted the sandwich plate I had more issues with clearance from the feed lines. I'm going to have to put 90s on them off that T so I can get all those lines to work. Theres alot of stuff going on in that small area.

As far as the spray, I got some of the permatex ultra copper in a tube and put a light film on my gaskets. That should hopefully give me a good seal!

here are my clearance issues. This oil pan return location are tough. Any ideas?

Individual results may vary ... big picture is that you gotta fit the intake charge pipe between the pump and that hose connection...so you gotta open it up in some form or fashion.

not much room in there is there?! I cant wait to fight with it

im thinking about removing the ac compressor and all that for added clearance on this pipe...where is this bracket I circled supposed to bolt to? Mine isnt remotely close to anything.

my AC went away - it clears things up very well...I'm tempted to look into a electrical pump driven power steering system...I'd love to clear up the passenger side.

that would be cool. I rarely use my AC, usually just roll windows down. It gets pretty damn hot here in NC so Im going to try and make it work for the time being.

I would keep it...my car is stripped and every excess/unnecessary weight is off the car.

got the engine back in. Once I figured out my passenger side turbo was wayyy off. Clocked it straight up and it went right in. Really not bad at all. Now I have to put everything back together

couple pics of the progress. what a nightmare to get these pipes in on the passenger side. In the last 2 pics, I have 2 nuts jb welded to the pipe. Was that for nos or meth injection?? If you click on them they should rotate.

yeah - pain in the nuggets...I'd love to eliminate my PS pump ... not sure what those JB welded nuts are but I would just plug them.

Theres a tab on the front of your upper oil pan that it lines up with. Its the flat one with the sharpie mark.

This pipe should connect to a small cast pipe that then connects to the driver side turbo outlet.

Plug those holes, it was most likely for meth injection. You may be able to use one for the boost ref to the wastegate since it is pre-throttle body.

thanks cux, my pipe wasnt close enough to mount to that, I just made my own bracket for it. If I used that tab the pipe would hit the pulley. I just got some bolts and plugged those holes...I also ordered new filters to replace my mushroom of death filters. Went with the aem dry flow

Those tabs should line up. Maybe clock your inducer housing and massage the pipes.
