if you are currently using silicone connectors, you just cant add those solid couplers. your pipes need to be perfectly square and line up directly, which they never would if designed for flexible couplers.

you have to build your charge pipes with those in mind.

yeah was looking to get a custom piping setup from the ic to the manifold. Eliminate 3 couplers in the process and add 1 of these. Relocate the maf or delete it entirely.

i'm not sure of the TT kit you have but the Get That Money charge pipe was virtually unchanged albeit the welding on of the SFR coupler...you can weld one to the TB and/or IC if you want, just put the flex into the system with a silicone coupler wherever you want... give Tim a call, he said yes he would sell!

Hey Raj,

keeping the IPT built 5 AT as decided years ago (lol)...until we dyno it and see what happens.....Talked a little to Hal about the th2004r swap since he has done the TH400 already....Just gonna wait and see after we get all these coatings and small things done, dyno and if it goes 600+ ok...if not, call extreme automatics for the th200r. I think you were making 550ish before slipping on your 5AT right? IPT built? i still wonder how marshall greenwald got 698 or so to hold....

Yes, GTM built. I believe Marshall had his dyno'd on a Dynojet, which is going to be less stressful on the transmission. He also indicated that his transmission was slipping at that point.

Default Headers?

Can't say about the headers...attached is the air diversion panel layout with holes drilled to show the tube core support....also, custom cans to each side of the radiator...need caps welded on...

Next up is a custom trunk/relocated battery/water-meth aluminum cover with access doors for battery and w/m. I'm trying to keep Tim busy

Yeah, last time I talked to Marshall his transmission wasn’t holding anything over 500whp on the road... still went 11.3 with it though, lol

Default TKS!

Hows ur TT running El?

bad news on marshalls car only holding 500whp......Im going to hate the additional time it's going to take to install a GM trans, driveshaft etc......

Oh well...have to get all this fab stuff done first..I'll worry about the tranny when I get to that bridge..

Gonna have Tim build me a easy fill diff tube extending into the trunk/battery/w/m area so i can change the fluid easily...seems the new rear end has to be specifically broken in=more time....may revise my rear cooler into a diff cooler while we are at it.....Just wish I could clone Tim...A COUPLE OF TIMES!

Default fabrication....

Im thinking of having aluminum fender liners made for the front of the car....I can add venting to duct air out of the engine compartment, make the 'triangle" end under the air filters an access point for servicing the air filters directly, w/o having to remove the bumper or undertray...just a few dzus fasteners, bolts, screws whatever attachment device...can also powder coat them any color...help brighten up an ugly black plastic thing taking up space in the engine bay...

OR...

I might powder coat them to match the white paint (easily dirtied though...)

comments, thoughts ideas appreciated...

Aluminum liners could be noisy when driving, thats the only reason I wouldn't go that route.

Default educate me

Will AL transmitt that much more noise through the engine compartment? I know the stock plastic has holes in if for air flow/noise also....

is the noise from wheel vibration? I'm trying to figure how replacing the front half of the liner ONLY (since it is all thats shows in the engine compartment, will transmit more noise through the engine compartment...more than turbos, blowoff valves, other mechanical noises, enough to make in audible...

Pls explain.
