Question Injector inpendance

Hey guys I've been wanting to go turbo for some time, and now i finally got the cash to do it. My question is this, is 550cc injectors enough for around 7PSI. i talked to the guys at uprev and i was told that inpendance on those injectors would be too high and unsafe, that I needed 720s at least. should i get 720s or is it overkill?

Impedence has nothing to do with the size of the injector (these days anyway). As long as you can idle well, there is no reason to go with a smaller injector. They all cost the same (until you jump to 2000cc!). If you are using the stock ECU for tuning (UpRev), get a high impedence injector (I recommend Injector Dynamics).

rcdash thats exactly what uprev recommended and i am using osiris for tunning. The guy just told me that the duty cycles would be above 100% or something like that. The kit im getting comes with 550 injectors and they guy i talked to made a big deal about them.

iideadeyeii those are cheap!!!!! are you going turbo as well?

Im going with Injector Dynamic 725's and ID 1000 plug and play connectors on a Vortech set up. I would HIGHLY recommend listening to uprev and their suggestion since you will be using their software and they know what they are talking about.

Why? Same price, might as well get 1000cc. Should still idle like stock, right (not sure with UpRev, but curious)?

Im going w/ Haltech now and the 725's are what Hal recommended actually... They will have plenty of flow for a Vortech setup kept to under 500whp.

Triji what numbers are you shooting for? I just pulled the trigger on BP's kit and hoping for 400 at the wheels.

I should be sitting around the low to mid 400's I am guessing on a Vortech SC set up. I am not going to fall for the 'my350z' trap and go for big forum numbers just to boast... I want real world drivability and fun on a reliable build.
