Just blew my first cog belt.

Immediately drove by ZCG and they swapped it out for me. They also noticed the serpentine belt is rubbing slightly on the timing cover so they'll eventually fix that.

When the car is Full Hot, Like after a hard run, their needs to be some Play in the Belt. I set mine you with 1/2-3/4" play cold, then check it full hot. Never Had a Cog Belt break, not on wood. Gate also make a strong Belt than the GT2, search my threads if your interested. It's the Strongest Belt they make!!!!!!!

What a great read! Congrats on your build, OP! I learned a lot thru your trial and error.

Haltech Platinum Pro Plug-in is on its way.

I'll do before/after dynos comparing the Uprev tune to the Haltech. I'm sticking with 91 for now but will most likely tune with E85 Flex Fuel within the next year and crank up the boost.

My main motive for swapping to the standalone is to get rid of some jerking I'm getting when trying to maintain a constant cruising speed in traffic. Rob at ZCG keeps fiddling with the Uprev tune but can't get it perfect enough for my liking. When Dynasty swapped from Uprev to Haltech on a HR they gained about 50hp as seen here. Even though more HP isn't my goal it would be a nice bonus for how much this standalone costs...and how capable my car is.

Other than the slight jerking at cruising and a few destroyed cog belts the car has been running well.

When I made the switch from uprev to haltech, didn't gain power at all. Best thing about the switch was all the safety parameters I was gaining over the Uprev. Drivability was the same also.
