hmm so once my build was done i was considering forged for a tune. after amazingly ALOT of people telling me to choose otherwise. i am sent this from a friend... if this is a repost please delete. but deff something i think the community should see. i know he is highly respected here.. thoughts? read the entire 15 pages and i am shocked obviously there is always 3 sides to a story, forged, the customer, and the truth and usually none of the 3 match perfectly.

i am neutral in all this just think its kinda shocking seeing as how respected sharif and forged is...or was.

 

Read that not too long ago, I believe we've had some issues here as well. Don't think it's the shop entirely but possibly more so quality control with employees/techs.

 

In general, if you **** someone off, it usually makes things uncomfortable. Unless you're a balkan like myself, where you get over it in a day or two. In which case, getting angry at inanimate objects is typical. It also means you break a lot of phones... and toasters...

 

To bad you didnt see the write-up on him in the official shop rating sticky thread b4 you forked over your ride. They f'ed his car up even worse than yours but your out more money.

Sharif got quiet here on my350z after that and moved on to the GT-R platform.

 

Honestly after everything that has happened I think it'd be best if Forged shut down shop and Sharif got a new job. The story is out if someone doesn't know, they will know soon. If he somehow manages to live this through I at a minimum expect his shop to be extremely downsized or his BBB to be ****.

I'd fire everyone buy the guy a new GTR and mod it to the state he wanted it....

agreed, i think it CAN be made right.. but will he. BUT in the end the thought of how long after they are out of the huge spot light again will things fall to this level again. doesnt matter if its a huge case like this 250k dollars all the way down to your average joes 100-200 bucks, peoples hard earned money deserves good quality work.. not sure i would ever test my money to them regardless of how this turns out.

 

Yeah forged just does some money hungry, no ****s given ******** imho.

It's sad how they go from hard nose to apologetic AFTER you talk about contacting the BB about their practices, NOT when you identify a problem with their service.

Seriously? It couldn't be much worse. This is far from an isolated incident or the first time that FP/Sharif butchered a car and screwed a customer. It's not just a matter of Sharif's staff and QC issues. Read the dpjones thread and all the dirt that came out about Sharif. This latest debacle with the GT-R is deja vu from 2010. There is a reason why the OG's who once supported FP have since stopped taking their cars there and have moved on to other shops.

Too many sad news about this shop. Maybe they should just tone down their services to regular maintenance like oilchange, carwash and stuff. Quit tuning and switch that name to "Forged Maintenance" lol. way too shady, dude.

I feel sorry for the customers who lost a lot of money and time.
