Unhappy Bad day for my Z

So I was on my way to a Tampa meet today with a group, had a Bentley continental GT pull up beside us so I couldn't resist but to see what hes got. Did a pull to about the top of 4th gear beside him and let out, Noticed my check engine light pop on, some lose of power, and the motor running rough, So I pulled over and call in the tow truck. It was blowing a lot of white smoke according to some of the other Z guys I was with. Ran the codes when I got home and its misfiring on cylinders 3 and 4. Sounds like ring issues huh? :/

BTW, im running a V3 vortech with 600cc injectors. Its been on for about 2 weeks and the car made 365whp on a dyno that is said to be 20% lower than a DynoJet.

white smoke means coolant in the engine…cracked block? blown head? how much white smoke is coming out will tell you?

I think you blew your heads/head studs failed - if you're running 365whp, and reading 20% low, the rough math is 70 hidden whp, now youre at 435whp - which is pushing the limits of your block (assuming you have a DE block)…Depending on how youre tuned - you either pre-ignited or simply exceeded the limits of the heads/head studs.

start researching built blocks

Its the Revup. and yes, its making about 435 if you were to put it on a dynojet. It was quite a bit of white smoke when heavy in the throttle, also when giving a little rev on the side of the road. Any suggestions on build blocks? I was looking into the packages Z1 and ipp are offering.

Probably rings...my stock revup croaked the same way, with a ton of white smoke, but I did manage to drive it home 10 miles in traffic lol...

rings as in piston rings? (Im asking bc I don't know, not being a dick) How would that/how does that explain the white smoke/coolant in the combustion?

I bought my block, fuel system, and misc parts from IPP. I had a great experience with IPP. I think they have top notch customer service, a package that suited my needs, pretty competitive prices and was able to get all my parts (even though a portion of them were unlisted on the website). Z1 has a similar reputation and either would be a good place to start.

Oil smoke can 'appear' whitish in the right light. Best way to tell is by the smell. No way to know for sure otherwise until you do some compression tests, pull the plugs stick a scope in there, ect. My guess is cracked ring lands (engine is certainly done for).
