complete waste of money

edit:

cjm is kind of one off, but at least you would get something for your money.
I have a plenum skunk 1/2 inch plenum spacer as well. Maybe when it's back up and running I can test both and let y'all know. You're right I did buy it because "shiny" but even my tuner has claimed he's installed many, and always seen an "improvement" on boosted cars. But hey maybe someone would gift me the Cjm intake (hint hint) I'll test that vs the others for sure! Oh and as far as quality, honestly the welds look really nice and its stainless steel, so I mean it doesn't feel cheap or crappy when I'm holding it.

not sure why you keep coming back to CJM. it's been a while since I was reading about it, but if my memory is correct it is was very application specific. so may or may not be beneficial to your setup.

if you want a plenum that is known for power on a boosted setup, I think the cosworth is the plenum of choice.

also the spacers, crawfords, and APS tallboy are relatively good choices for the money.

regardless, kinetix would have to pay for my full build for me to put any of their products on my car

I can't speak on the hfc but the plenum looks alright it's warrantied up to 20 psi that's where I'm going so we will see.

your car build it as you see fit.

I am in the process of a rebuild and know the parts I personally would use and won't use based on my very issue prone previous setups. in all honesty the quality of work is more important than the actual components... to a degree

Default Vacuum line problems from he**

So, motor is in cars almost to the point of turn key. Problems I'm facing right now are vacuum lines. For the life of me I cant remember how to put these back on here. I took the old ones off not looking at how they were set up. I took them off because the lines were "crispy" plus I broke some of my connections. So it's a maze of lines I'm staring at. I've got the basics down, just can't remembe why I had some "y" connections in there. It's fun lmao hopefully will have it running today will keep y'all updated!
