The 600cc will be good but if you can find a 750cc or 800cc it might be worth an extra thought. A return fuel system would a step in the right direction but may not be necessary for your build. and +1 to the Uprev...

It seems like this may be alittle over your head - which is ok, everyone is a beginner at some point. You may want to see if you can't find a performance mechanic who can look over your work and help you with the fuel system install. It'd be a shame if you finished this build and overlooked a few details which ruined not only your supercharger but your engine aswell.

Great info, thanks everyone. Especially Conway_160 & bealljk for your help.

Conway_160 I was reading your thread on your procharger install. That sucks about the oil leak on the dyno. Ill will be super cautions on my install triple checking everything bolt and belt making sure everything is torque to spec.

Yea it's not been fun but now im gonna rebuild the block and possibly put some Nitrous on it for the dragstrip.

Does anyone know the torque specs for the hex bolts on the actual supercharger and the bolts holding the bracket to the engine?

I called the procharger manufacture an the techs there are clueless.... They tell me to just tighten them as hard as I can (what kind of advice is that?)

I would scope the factory service manual for the OEM torque specs on anything that bolts to the block. If you have any of the SC bolts still inplace you may want to loosen them and note how much torque you used to take them off and replicate that for the tightening. If you can't find anything reliable I would get them firm and put either blue or red thread-lock on your hardware.

Yea when i put mine on i used red Lock tite and put decent amount of torque of them. Nothing crazy but it will be a pain in the *** to get them back off.

Hi guys, so I got my supercharger installed just now, triple checked everything but it won't turn over. It sounds like the battery is dieing but its a new battery.

I have not installed the bigger injectors, Walbro fuel pump, or the GT MAF sensor yet. I just wanted to start it first to make sure there were no issues but it won't start up.

Any ideas ? Vacuum leak maybe?

I don't have the radiator fans hookup but I doubt that would stop to car from starting.

Check all of your connections again! I made the mistake of not plugging in my MAF all the way till it clicked in, had the same problem on my build. You can try feathering the gas while cranking. Dont crank for more than 5 seconds, you'll kill your poor battery faster that way. Hope this helps! Good luck.

So I got the everything ready for the dyno. I dyno it yesterday an had a couple issues. They are easy fixes tho (no results yet), then I can dyno it again next week.

How much whp am I going to get out of this setup? For anyone who has had this setup before? I'm asking cause the dyno guy was like, "oh probably like 10hp", I'm thinking WtF. (Probably wouldn't have install this kit for only a 10hp gain).

Parts install again so u guys don't have to scroll up

- ATI Procharger
- GT MAF
- 600cc injectors
- Walbro fuel pump

750cc is overkill. 600 are fine.

edit: I see you want 600whp in your future. (?)

750cc will do it, but FYI I'm running 600cc and a 255 pump and just hit 621 correct in 80ish degree heat. Colder weather, fuel will be short obviously.

So I'd do the 750cc and 340 pump, but if you're only hitting 400whp then it's overkill. FRS is also overkill.
