I imagine it does give you a few ponies they say up to 50......colder air is better......and Nitrous is very very cold........basically turns your intercooler into a freezer for about 15 seconds. I cancelled my NX intercooler sprayer, I'm just going to reroute my Purge lines so they spray from behind the intercooler from each side. The looks of the NX kit got the best of me, there hideous, purge you can hide so the only one that sees them is a freezing intercooler.......
Ive also herd peeps using there window washer lines......rerouting them to the intercooler, same idea i have with the purge just not as cold as NOS, and the colder the air equals denser air and more power.
Here's a thread I already posted in about this. Hope it helps

no chance with a vortech intercooler or ATI set up either.......makes sense with the PE as the Intake is right behind...Last edited by fluidz; Mar 5, 2004 at 06:32 PM.
Yep, the ATI one sits right on top.
Depending on how big the spray is and how much of a fog it creates. At idle with no air blowing through intercooler it's very possible that it could get sucked into the intake. The most efficient time to cool your intercooler off with N2O would be when you're not moving so the risk is there. Just making people aware of that possibility and account for it when they position the nozzle(s).

Probably shouldn't be posting ford "tech" here, but this post made me recall this article http://www.f150online.com/fordnews/view.cfm?nnum=152 and it's relative to this topic. They call it supercooler technology and it seems pretty efficient.
