Default $5000 for 600HP

$5000 buys either a supercharged 454 or 350 engine from PAW.

It seems awfully expensive to FI a 350Z.

Will FI kits eventually become cheaper for the Z ??

the only way its going to get cheaper is via the sale of used kits......

you are comparing apples to oranges....there are hundreds of thousands of Chevy and GM engines around, and they are used in tons of different platforms, many of which lend themselves to performance work.

The Z is a very very very limited market by comparison

Home Depot sales leaf blowers for like $150 bucks. Be creative!

600 HP for $5000 is a pipe dream. Even buying a used kit won't get you that type of performance for $5k, because you're looking at needing pistons and rods to reliably hit that level of power.

Anyway, if bang for the buck is your game, then the Z is not the car for you. Look at a Foxbody Mustang. You can hit the 10's for $10k or less, including the price of the car. It won't be pretty, but it will be damned quick.
