Default Anybody running Stillen SC without an intercooler?

Hey:

I live at 3600 ft elevation. I lose about 1.6 psi absolute pressure because of altitude. If I add a Stillen SC at 5.5 psi it is the equivilent of running the same setup at sea level at 4.0 psi boost.

The install is much easier. I have to move fewer factory components on the car. If I hate it I can easily remove it. It meets my wants for power. I am ok with the hood thing. I am OK with adding octane-in-a-can.

Is anybody running a Stillen without an intercooler?

Thanks

Mike

amarillo mike our first project car was the stillen sc. the power and torque curves are very flat. in my opinion the sc is much more linear than a twin yurbo. however, it is difficult to create big horsepower with this unit. you are correct the sc from stillen is a relatively easy install and their fit and finish is awesome. we still have this z at our shop but will be selling it this summer. our new z is almost finished. i believe we still have some information on our website about our sc car. the site is www.bouldernissan.com or on our performance site www.bouldernissan motorsports.com best of luck.

Hi Jason:

Thanks for the information!

What did you control timing with?

Did you change the Stillen injector set up?

Did you change the Stillen FMU (other than tuning)?

Thanks

Mike
