Default What else is the APS using to run a 11.97?

Hey guys, was curious if anyone knew what APS is using to run that 11.97 quarter mile? I tried searching but the search engine tends to be a little too broad and everything with APS popped up. Did the replace the LSD? Slicks? Clutch/flywheel.

Thanks

~Josh

I am not sure about what tires they used but that was only with exhaust, other than that it is a stock track model.. Stock clutch/ flywheel and stock LSD!!! And that was in the early stages of tuning!! Stay tuned for some awesome times with these APS cars including mine!!.

Other than their TT kit, car was fitted with drag radials. I'm not so certain on what octane gas but I'm assuming its 93 or US equivalent. Oh before I forget, a great driver.

If i remember correctly they ran the car 10 psi with drag radials and 94 octane. send aps a pm.

Ibelieve the exhaust was stock but not sure on that one and i know the clutch was stock and i believe their 350z model has the factory viscous Lsd 99% sure but definitly no modded diff or clutch

Yowza. That is rather impressive. Drags certainly help a lot but still that is an amazing run. If it is at 10 PSI that is quite a bit over what it will run stock though I assume. Anyhow I'm interested in their product and waiting to see what the JWT looks like, but sounds like APS is going to be the way to go.

All you guys buying this kit are in for the ride of your life, I've been luckly enought to drive the APS test car running at 9.2psi with the test pipes plus the APS catback exhaust and yes, it as run at higher pressures on stock internal for short runs to test the fuel system etc, you are right, it as a std diff, gearbox and clutch. This is a quality product no lie, I've seen it first hand and as Peter has said it'll be worth the wait, I'm sold, mine's on order, so for those of you not sure let me tell you this is the real deal you won't be dissappointed, if TT's are your choice this is the kit.

i am sold too, what i like most is the garrett ball bearing twin turbos, they are long life, they can stand higher pressure on a daily basis, the whole kit has very high quality parts. i have looked at all of them, it is going to be fun to install this and even funner driving it.

I am pretty sure that car ran with a different clutch because there is no way a stock clutch can handle that power at the drag strip. been there done that.

Standard clutch, I've driven the car and can vouch for that, it was and still is fitted with a standard clutch, gearbox and diff.
