No it does not. I actually asked about that...it was removed temporary for the install of the kit. It is normally re-installed post install but Turbonetics had been pulling the kit off the car and putting it back on so often to get pics for the install instructions that they just left it off. It was on its way to get that re-installed when the Traction gods decided to frown on the car....

I've seen similar damage on a couple other cars, it's not likely to be totaled, depending on limits/values with your insurance co.

There may be damage I can't see in these photos.

You're biggest problem is that this type of damage can take a couple months easy to fix due to parts.

Remember when Sharif had his wreck? Didn't it take him a while to get his rear bumper?

Might want to call up Performance Nissan and see if they can find you one. Are you going to have to replace the whole rear bumper or just the rear fenders?

I thought not being totaled was better than a couple months for parts/service.

I don't know what you have put into your car, aside the Turbo KIT as far as mods/time/money but if your car gets totaled you will have to redo all of that as well.

Of course having a new car wouldn't be such a bad thing either in some aspects.

I think the real concern is gonna be how much frame dammage was done. most cars out ther have a unibody set up(dunno if 350z does but i imagine it does) which have the frame and body of car as 1 piece,,only problem is that when a crash occurs it might look as if u only need a fender but in reallity the frame needs to be straightend out as well... good luck bud. everything will work out ,it always does.

Well that is good I guess LOL

Also is there a need for power steering relocation kit? And other kits come with a oil pan with oil feed, does this kit require us to do the drilling ourselves? Oh and any new info/pics on the kit using the cat?

That portion I compeltely agree with, I see later in the the thread here there is no frame damage, which of course is one of the more serious concerns, and why I mentioned there may be damage that can be seen in the photots (I didn't want to bring that up).

Now it's just a matter of parts.

I know this sounds silly, but you may actually be able to get better access to parts through the body shop than the dealers, depending on their connections.

I can tell you that because when I was looking for a fender for friend of mine, we went to dealers first, then a friend of mine at abody shop, made a couple calls and got it in 2 days, when the dealers (all majors) said 2-3 weeks.

How, Why, I wouldn't even want to guess.

Best of luck on turn around time!
