Default Went to the track, new best time

RT .201
60' 2.073
330' 5.630
1/8 8.499
MPH 85.85
1000' 10.963
1/4 13.069
MPH 105.93

Most other times were in the 13.2-13.4 range. 60' times were dropping as the night progressed. This was my first time at the track with my new wastegated supercharger. Transmission started acting up on me as the night went. I need a valve body job!

No one wants to hop on the group buy, here on my 350z?

In the front yes, in the rear no. I was running stock config. 17's with Goodyear GS-D's.

Yes and it slipped in 2nd gear. I'll email you the recordings and map when I get to my other laptop. The boost is not dropping anymore, got it set to hit about 9.2-9.4psi.

Do with either of you (gspot35 or booger) have any sound clips of the vortech at idle im curious on how loud it is with the hood closed I've heard a couple videos and the sound of the sc was very high pitched and loud but I think it just sounded so loud cause the hood was open, the only thing thats stopping me from the voretch is loudness, thats why i've been looking in to the HKS should be pretty queit, sorry to get off topic but if you got any sound clips give me a pm and i'll give you my email.

I have some dyno videos of my car...they are big...we'd need a host. There is also a video floating around of Zimbo's car. Search here or G35driver for zimbo and video. You should find it. Mine is quieter IMO. I heard TimRod's Z and mine seems quieter at idle than his. Not sure if his hood is insulated or not.

The SC itself is pretty quiet . The BOV on the other hand is a loud whistle and can be quited with a filter stuffed with a foam air filter used on shop vacs

yeah the video of zimbo's car with the hood open made me kinda turn away from the vortech it was extremely loud, maybe its just his setup. Im gonna have to hear one in person to see what it really sounds like, I've heard the ATI it wasnt that loud but not what I would want. I dont mind the S/C being loud during WOT it just while cruising or just idling at a stop light.

Don't get a supercharger if you want you car to sound stock around town. Get a single turbo or tt. Even the roots style make noise at idle and at mild throttle.

Nice~!

Does the 5AT have a drop resistor that modifies line pressure at WOT?

If so, you might try this:
