Being in Cal, you get 91 octane, Ballpark 375-410WHP. DynoJet

All Dynos will read different.

I made 394WHP on 93 Octane (DynoJet) with the 3.12, stock cats, Exhaust, and Walbro, everything else stock.

thanks a lot for your time and help man I really appreciate it. I'm gonna go with the setup you told me:
4:1 FMU recalibration kit + Walbro 255 pump
since I already had the 550cc injectors might as well just put them in and hope I can take it to get tune as soon I get the parts and install them. my tuner is gonna charge me $800 witch I think it's a little expensive but it's the only one I found around here.

hey OldmanZ350 how much psi where you running when you had the 3.12 pulley and stock cats? did you ever put HFC'S or test pipes if so what was the diference on your psi? I've been looking for boost leak on mine but can't find anything my boot gauge is readying between 7-8 psi at redline.

with 3.12 and a 6600rpm rev limiter about 9.5 to 10psi. it did not drop much with test pipes, may 1/2 psi. Going by the dash gauge to determine boost is not the best. I read boost from the MAP sensor in the Splitsecond Box.

did you ever found out how much of a diferente was from the gauge and the map sensor?

what rpm is "redline" for you. stock redline, raised redline, letting off before actual redline?

also, do you have a log of the SS box map sensor? You need to check to see if your belt is slipping by looking at the boost curve. It should be a straight line all the way up to redline without leveling off.

7-8psi on 3.12 doesn't sound too terribly low. It is all relative anyways. more boost doesn't mean more power. Boost is only a measure of backpressure and in no way should be used to denote how much power a build is producing. Therefore I wouldn't chase after "boost" numbers. I would use a smoke system or pressurized system to look for leaks if you think you have a leak but if the boost curve is linear and always increasing up to redline you probably don't have a leak.

my red line is at 6800 DE engine, and yeah yesterday I found out that my serpentine belt is sleeping at high rpms. About the leak I'm gonna use smoke just to double
check. thanks for the input tho. I'm gonna go get tune next week so I want my car to be running good for that day.

I would put my money on belt slip being you're issue...it's a constant issue with the Vortech, the more you spin the blower...

if you know you have belt slip then don't waste your time looking for a leak. Just any tiny amount of belt slip will cause some significant boost drop in the upper rpms.
