Default Slip light stays on after a burn....

Gents,

Regarding a 03 G35Sedan

After a burnout or any serious fun, my slip light stays on....
To turn it off the car must be shut down.....
WHY????
HOW???
Is this normal???
Thanks,

On my old 03, it would always stay on until the car was shut off if I 360'd. If it was a little skid, it would turn off by itself.

I have the same thing happen to me. I'm borrowing some wheels with tires that are really torn up from drifting and doing some donuts and whatnot, and I get my slip light stuck on as well.

I really don't know. I just turned the car off and on again and didn't worry about it.

don't worry about. i don't think any harm will come you way.

when I was donut & figure 8 crazy mine would stay on unitl the car was turned off. (8k out of a $1300 set of tires calmed me down a little).

Did you try turning the VDC back on and then driving a bit? When my car was smogged on a chassis where the VDC had to be turned off, the Slip light stayed on until I drove about half a block. This is an '05 MT
