vk56 swapping the g
if you mean the nats, that's software. Call uprev and send them the m56 ecu to remove the nats, unlock the ecu, ramove speed liniter etc.. They should be able to put the vin on the g37 to the m56
Was the VK45 ecu in your application communicating with the stock gauge cluster?
Or were you running aftermarket gauges?
Were you able to retain cruise control and traction control function with the VK45 ecu?
my preference would be to run an Nissan ecu (thinking M56 most likely), and avoid the expense of a stand alone system. This seems to me to be the main drawback for this swap.
everything else seems pretty straight forward as far as getting the engine in the vehicle.
Thanks!

kel, I followed your build on G35 driver way back. Very cool build. I am starting to plan my swap. Would like to do the VK50VE or VK56VD. This is purely for the higher horsepower spec and twin throttle body intake that has been proven to clear the hood in a Z/G. Seems like it is very hard to find info on this swap, even though I have seen several completed running cars. The main area that lacks info is the ecu options. As far as I can find you are the only VK swap I’m aware of that is running a Nissan ecu. My main questions are:
