my friend and i are gonna head to the dealer on saturday to buy a G35c for him. He found one at the local dealer. However, we are not sure what kind of price break there is on a base model?
how much can i ask off for off MSRP or above invoice.
we got a pre-approved check and ready to roll.

I've been looking at the G35 Coupe for a couple of weeks now. Out here (Arizona), none of the Infiniti dealers will come down off of MSRP. They are not selling them over, but they will not come down at all it seems. Good luck this weekend, but if they are anything like that out there, don't expect much.

 

how much over invoice....too much.

Not sure what i paid over invoice but i did get $1600 off the sticker price. Basically i just emailed different dealerships asking for their best price and just pitted them against each other. Came out with $1600

 

I just got $1000 off MSRP for my Coupe 6mt here in NJ. I had to really haggle them to give me anything off list on the 6mt, but they were willing to deal with the 5at's.

Acutally my friend and I have requested quotes from 3 dealer and will be using that to our advantage tomorrow to negotiate. if all else fails, I think we are still getting the car cuz he got a pre-approved check for 45k. He was gonna get an used M3, but talked him into getting the 350z. Since I am getting the 350z he will get he G35c. :-)

you'll have a better chance of dealing if you're getting an auto....you won't get any lower than MSRP with the 6MTs...

 

do far we are at 1100$ off msrp for 6 speed.
let's see what tomorrow brings.

 

This might depend on the area where you live. Where i live (northern illinois), the number of 6mt's at each dealership outnumber the 5AT's by a large margin. I probably could of gotten another $100-200 off a 6mt.

 

a coupe in auto?
hhha. no way. he's getting SC put on the car and auto would not be a good choice of transmission.
