I would doubt resetting the ECU would do anything. If the ECU is using Short-Term and Long-Term fuel trim maps to determine the A/F ration, it will probably take the ECU a matter of seconds to determine the proper fuel dispersion.

Exactly! And for the Popcharger making gains, independent dynos have PROVEN that it doesn't make anything that can be measured (3 independent runs on 3 different vehicles). BUT, independent dynos have proven that the Plenums and ECU Reflashes DO make hp...

General caveat: "Your mileage may vary"

Just placed an order for a JWT pop-charger after reading about the 6.5whp gain claim. Then I came across some threads with these horror stories (stalling, messing sensors,...etc)

So what is the deal here? Shall I fix it when I get it?

I need the guys with this kit to give some feed back about it please

Thanks in advance

I have also had mine for a year and love it. The ECU did not adapt quick enough for me. The ride was belting out black exhaust so I did have to do an ECU reset. Has been running fine ever since.

I just installed my JWT Popcharger by myself and man let me tell you. It feels like I have more throttle response and that thing hisses. Espically after acclearating hard then shifting then getting back on the acclearator again, you can hear it. I'm happy with my first mod. and I highly recommend it to anybody else. It's fairly easy to install after you get pass that last bolt on the bottom of the hose connecting the stock fliter system. That thing is a b*****, but when you get pass that. Everything else comes easy and it took me only 10 minutes to install it with the heat shield. Get it and take that mug pass 4k all the way to the redline, Damn that thing sounds beautiful....lol

Honestly it feels like it has more throttle response and the car feels stronger. Everytime I get on the gas and off, you can hear that thing sucking in air. I'm going to the track on friday night and on my way there. Imma have to ride the highway, so I'll let you know how that goes. But for the most part man, I honestly believe it seriously works great and is worth every penny.

I AGREE! And for a buck and a quarter, how can you go wrong?
